Had a weekend in Norfolk with some friends and stayed here for 1 night. Fantastic room, v friendly and welcoming hosts, where nothing was too much trouble. Excellent attention to detail. Felt like staying with familiar friends. Breakfast was delicious. Guest lounge with real fire was excellent, Wi-Fi v handy! Stunning setting, would definitely return.

Excellent B & B Simon and Jean welcomed us into their home. Breakfast was more than adequate and the room and en suite were more than adequate. Like the idea of providing fresh mike in stainless steel flask, no plastic little pots. Altough we did not use them the guest lounge was well laid out and there were enough books... More

My friend and I have just returned from The Limes. The food is all home grown, prepared and cooked. The evening meals are better than a 4 star hotel with a lot of effort put in to preparing them. This lovely victorian house is ideally situated for exploring either the Broads, coast or towns. .

The Limes is a very pleasant B&B. We were made to feel very welcome. The en suite room was very clean & comfortable with all the required facilities. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was good. Evening meal at the Pub just around the corner was excellent. The situation of the B&B peaceful. Would recommend.

Good size room and good bed but kept awake by rock band noises in the background. Cleanliness was good, though the small balcony jutting out from the window could do with a clean out. Falls short of the 4*. Lacks attention to detail such as no toilet roll holder, no where to hang wet towels, no tissues. Host was very... More

So nice to have a 'proper' breakfast to start the day, fresh fruit salad followed by a healthy full english with local products and home baked toast and marmalade to die for, highly recommended if you appreciate your food. lovely and clean with a nice and laid back feel. My favourite stay in the whole of norfolk.

Good food, welcoming hosts and very comfortable beds! - In a lovely village setting close to the waterways and a variety of good restaurants in Horning. Jean and Simon were most amiable hosts who made us feel very at home.

Good bed and breakfast in the remote areas of Norfolk is hard to come by. For the past couple of years we have enjoyed the unique hospitality offered by the LIMES Bed and Breakfast situated in Catfield. Approximately one and a half miles from the Whispering Reeds boat yard at Hickling Broad the location is ideal for exploring The Thurne... More
