Having spoken to Theresa (the hard working owner) to arrange our arrival we were met with a smile. The Westherdene is a gem, tucked away from the noise of the seafront yet a 30 second walk away. Parking was free & not a problem at all. Our room, a twin costing £50 was immaculate & quite beautiful with lovely furniture... More

Stayed for one night with our son and daughter, Theresa looked after us really well and the rooms were really clean, both had ensuite and were very comfortable and quiet - even though people were coming and going. Breakfast was excellent and catered for my son who is a vegetarian. Yes, car parking may mean you have to park about... More

Stayed for three nights, Theresa was very nice, good food, good conversation, enjoyed the stay, parking was less enjoyable, on street parking is a pain! As others have said 24hr residents permit is available, but its still a pain

Stayed for five nights at this lovely guesthouse. The welcome was first class with tea and cakes, every day breakfast was wonderful with excellent choice of cereals to add to the cooked breakfast which we looked forward too. Parking was no problem and a 24hr parking permit was available if required. The room we had was on the ground floor,... More

Stayed overnight at the beginning of November 2012. Was a great trip! We had two rooms, since the family room was being redecorated (looking great). The kids thought this was great! Breakfast was fab, with a good choice It's not everyday that you find somewhere that can provide a vegetarian alternative to a cooked breakfast for our vegetarian daughter! Great... More

Until we'd been offered a bargain break by another hotel we'd not thought of going to Yarmouth. After checking tripadvisor we decided against this hotel and looked for something else in the same area. We chose the Weatherdene partly because the parking was sorted and partly how it looked. This place captures you even before you go in with hanging... More

Only stay one night for the Firework display but is as good as all the other reports say. Parking is very tight as the free parking around the church is soon filled but the hotel can sort a 24hr permit for the resident parking in the area. Furniture in our room No 1 ground floor was solid Oak and demonstrate... More

Such a lovely b&b in an excellent location. The room we stayed in was beautiful and had a great view overlooking the church. Theresa is one of the nicest b&b owners I've ever met, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. In fact, I've only been home a few hours and I've already recommended the weatherdene to some of my... The location is perfect, with only a 5min walk to the seafront my boyfriend and I visited the beach both days we were there and went down to watch the fireworks one evening! The hotel was spotless and the breakfast was lovely! Will definitely be back to stay here next time we're in Great Yarmouth!
