Staff couldn't have been nicer, made sure you had everything you needed, much better than premier inn, central to Halifax, can't understand some negative reviews, family run and made to feel welcome, definitely stay again

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at this Hotel. We arrived at 9.45 in the evening we were met by the assistant manager. When he checked for our booking. (Made thought Booking.com) he said he had no record off it and instead of the £117 deal we had confirmed with Booking.com we would have to pay £45... More

Clean rooms and good size rooms. Could do with more pillows. Breakfast very good but not keen on buffet style but lots of choice. Hotel and rooms a bit tired. Could do with a bit of renovation. Staff very friendly and helpful. Chef very friendly serves good food try the curry pizza Should have help when busy.

I stayed here on my own for 3 nights, lovely welcome from the lady on reception, I was in room 309 which was spacious, had double aspect windows, and a lovely bathroom with a large shower. Yes you can hear the televisions from other rooms but it was quiet after 10,30pm so no problem. Yes you could hear the Minster... More

I have stayed here four times and enjoyed every stay. It is excellant value, very friendly staff, comfortable, quiet rooms and a very good breakfast. It is in a good location near the town centre as well as a short walk to the bus and rail stations. I recommend this hotel.

Wanted a value stop over and it 'did exactly what it said on the tin' room was clean, and spacious, and the buffet breakfast was good value.(sausages looked a bit pale for me!) wi-fi in hotel was sporadic, none in my room I was on 4th floor except in bathroom. Has parking and close enough to walk into town.

Myself and a friend stayed on the 28th Match for one night, as we were attending a wedding near by. From the word go the staff were nothing but helpful. Check in wasn't until 2pm, but we wanted to freshen up before the wedding which started at 1pm, and they were so kind as to let us in our room... More
