Its your standard Travelodge near the centre of Halifax. Closer to town than the Premier Inn. Having stayed at this Travelodge many times in the past few years we found this visit dissappointing. The staff are friendly and helpful if alittle thin on the ground. Got a saver deal of £35 for the room. Looks great from outside. Large car park- costs before 6pm or after 9am, but only £2.50 for up to 4 hours and reasonably secure. After reading some of the bad reviews I must say I was a little nervous about booking here, especially with an 18 month old toddler! I needn't have worried. We had room 402 which was spacious and very clean. The bedding was crisp and white and the towels clean and fresh. Extra bedding was supplied which was also really clean.... more

Stayed here November 07, the discount rate for the Sunday we stayed was £15, the room was clean & fresh and the bed was comfortable. The room had tea/coffee making facilities, a tv and shower room. All in all a fantastic deal. more

We have stayed at this travelodge a number of times and always had a pleasant stay, but our stay this November was very dissapointing. Various stays 2005 and 2006. I’ve stayed in many different Travelodges and find most of them good value for money. They are clean, neat, tidy and offer a basic room for the price.
