Location This is a very good location its just on the ring road and crossing the road will take you straight in the very attractive town centre. Value £25 for a nicely decorated room 14 Facilities The parking is problematic and not for the faint hearted - it is very tight parking. If you want you can park outside Halfords,... More

I chose this so called B and B because 2 nights would be paid for but I would have to pay for a third. So I opted for economy deciding that since I had only paid one night's deposit I could bail if it was too grim. I chose room #1 with the en-suite. On the plus side ... Quite... More

I took a torch and was very pleased with the room, for the price I paid it was excellent. I had ensuite and the kitchen was good too. The bulb in the lamp didn't work but it was replaced when I mentioned it. It has recently been decorated and was clean and comfortable. Very good location and I enjoyed a... More

Best comment I can muster - Clean Access to the rooms was via a very dark narrow corridor through a side entrance, with an incredibly tight staircase to negotiate with bags. Paid upfront or would have turned round and left.

On arrival there was no one here to greet or help. Bedroom simple and clean. And nicely decorated. TV fine. but cheap duvet and mattress. Cramped shower, not always hot water available. No bin in the room. Had to shower with a hand towel for first couple of days as there wasn't any staff around to ask for a proper... More

I arrived at 22.45, having previously informed staff of my late arrival but had difficultly attracting attention and gaining entry. Room was unheated with radiator switched off and the timer not allowing the heating to come on at that time. It was a cold and very wet night and I wanted clothes to dry. No bedside light either. As another... More

I stayed here on Saturday 23rd November in a single room I booked on expedia for £25. You enter the b&b area through a car park, it's not well lit and I felt quite unsafe when alone there. The room was on the second floor, it was very small and because of the slanted ceiling you could only stand up... More

I am here tonight ..... I had read other reviews and was a little cautious ... but .... The room I am in (Room # 1) is fabulous. Obviously recently renovated, and bathroom is disabled accessible. Clean, warm, digital TV. It is adjacent to a pub which offers really cheap evening meals .... There is also wifi ... Great place... More

This Room Only Guest House is a real mixed bag. Attached to a pub on the busy main road. I had a single room on the top floor, the stairs were lethal, very narrow and windy. If you have any walking difficulties forget it. The room was quite large, single bed under the velux window and right next to the... More

Thankfully we didn`t stay here but if the bar was anything to go by I`m glad we didn`t ! Looks a nice place from the outside and advertises real ale but, unclean beer glasses, poor tasting beer, cider was flat and not a nice taste. Scruffy place. Avoid !
