I have stayed at the Crossroads twice now and equally impressed on both occasions. As someone who travels frequently at work I have stayed in a variety of different bland chain hotels over the years which can become very monotonous indeed. In the last year or so I have started branching out and looking for smaller hotels etc to stay... More

I visited the Crossroads Inn with my wife and two close friends who are local to the area. The location and setting of this Inn is nothing short of magnificent, on entering you are greeted by the warmth and ambience created by the always present Landlord and Landlady -Jane and Peter, who are supported by very inviting and friendly bar... Pete and Jane and the team are all fantastic, very professional and friendly and work exceptionally hard to ensure you enjoy being at the Crossroads. We had two rooms, a double and a twin, both of... I recently visited here for lunch with friends. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the atmosphere lovely and warm on a chilly day! We ordered and food arrived quite quickly and was excellent! Home cut chips and homemade garlic bread a winner! Thanks for an enjoyable visit and I shall return in the future.

Recently went for Sunday evening meal at 6.30, 8 people in total. Between us we had the Pork, Lamb, chicken & beef roast diners. Meat tough, gravy far too salty, veg poor, Yorkshires puds rubbery. Not a good experience. The staff were however efficient and on the ball. Won't be going back. .The Timothy Taylors Landlord ale was excellent
