Having stayed here several times in the last 6 weeks the consistency of the rooms, food and staff is brilliant. Two staff in particular Claire & Poppy always are friendly, polite making sure everything is ok. Well worth a visit. It's a good base to visit the surrounding areas with Portsmouth only a 20 minute drive away.

This hotel is good and has a friendly ambiance, but easily be even better. The room we had was fine, and the food in the restaurant was superb. I definitely would recommend the fish and chips that was beautifully fresh and gently cooked in fresh batter. Due to the lovely weather and only being there one night we didn't get... More

First visit to the Langstone with hubby for a wedding we were attending. Did my booking online - little hiccup re what was included but sorted with reception on arrival. Good location and nice to see car park very close to venue and nice views - handy with the rain! Room was to a good standard, black out curtain and... More

This little hotel is close to the port and close to Ike's pre invasion headquarters . Great place to stop, rest and the food is pretty good. It's very very much like an old time Best Western with a friendly and very helpful staff. While there, there rooms were somewhat warm and the HVAC was not working. To alleviate this... More

Stayed only one night at the hotel for a family wedding. Room size was ok, bed comfy and crisp white sheets extra pillows arrived within a good time when reception rang. Bathroom tired towels very poor I have used better for my pets. No air co. fan is provided but just moves the hot air around. We were on the... More

We booked our room 10 months in advance for a wedding we were attending and paid £142 for room only for two nights which is not cheap. I would have expected a breakfast with that. The room was quite small, no fridge and when asked was offered a bucket of ice. I was informed that because they were refurbishing the... More

Read reviews and was a bit worried but all in all a pleasant hotel, we booked on a special offer. Rooms were nice and big and overall the hotel was clean. I agree that the rooms can get hot with no air con. Also we had a ground floor room No. 58 and it did not have any blinds or... More

Came here as a couple with another couple for a nice night away. Rooms were a good size, both rooms' bathrooms and bath could have been a little cleaner. Comfy bed, good amenities (Although no biscuits with the tea and coffee!). Made use of the swimming pool, sauna, spa and jacuzzi in the leisure facilities. Changing rooms clean and nice... More

Arrived to find a large wedding party there and a further large group had booked for dinner. We were advised to eat out as the kitchen was very busy. Service at breakfast was worse. Neither the table staff nor the kitchen could cope. They even ran out of bread. Our room was above a disco, but we were not warned.... More

A spa day with a friend together with cream tea with a glass of prosecco was a thoroughly enjoyable day. The swimming pool was just the right temperature and a good size, all clean and well looked after. A few more comfortable chairs round the pool would have been nice. Cream tea was excellent, we upgraded to full tea for... More
