Excellent campsite, which has got the basics right. Three fields (2 dog friendly) where you can choose your own pitch, with plenty of space and a lovely chilled feel to it. The facilities are good with plenty of toilets and showers, just remember you need a token for the shower. Good shop filled with everything you need and the best... More

No allocated pitches so camp where you like Extremely reasonable at 8 pounds per adult per eve regardless of what you are staying in. The new toilet and shower block is fantastic, and the camp shop extremely well stocked. Set within beautiful countryside with a perfect view of corfe castle and the steam train line. Perfect for walking , especially... More

Family and dog friendly campsite. Open March till October was £8 per night per adult, no matter when you visit. They have three fields one of which is for people without dogs. Two shower blocks the new ones are really nice, only thing you need to be aware of is that the showers take tokens. Tokens can be bought at... More

Just returned from our annual trip to Woodyhyde. There are several campsites in the surrounding area but we always go back to Woodyhyde. There are 3 fields to choose from - two if which have electric hook ups available. You can pitch where you like and if you're not wanting electricity you can pitch anywhere as the pitches aren't marked... More

Visited Woody Hyde campsite which is situated between Corfe Castle and Swanage, booked in for 2 nights and the only issue I could find is us wanting to stay longer!!! Picturesque views , friendly owner, a small shop for your necessities and showers and toilet block which are cleaned to the highest standard you really couldn't ask for anything more......... More

Although in a beautiful spot, my visit was spoiled by the fact that one of the toilet blocks had no locks that worked in either toilets or showers (not something that I'd have found difficult to fix), poor showers which really need updating, showers which barely produced water, and very slow service in the (admittedly well stocked) shop. The other... More

We have beeni visiting Woody Hyde for 30 plus years and it really is a little gem. Many years ago an elderly lady would arrive at your tent and you would pay her but more recently a large shop is on site, which has most of what you need at reasonable prices. I prefer to visit when it is quiet... More

Brilliant campsite !!!! This campsite was recommended by a friend and I'm glad I listened to him, on our arrival we was greeted by a very friendly owner, the site was busy but still had plenty of pitches to choose from. It's a beautiful walk to Corfe Castle
