Having paid 50 pounds plus for this room we expected more than shabby walls and stained carpets. Our room faced the car park and as a previous reviewer mentioned, it was noisy with people chatting and smoking outside. When they left early in the morning again it was noisy. However, the bed was OK and the bedding was very clean.... More

Friendly reception but the room allocated faced the car park and was close to the hotel reception. I asked to be moved to a quieter room but was met with a straight refusal. “All rooms have already been allocated and no changes can be made.”Inconsiderate guests congregated to chat and smoke outside reception and our night was disrupted between 11.00pm... Booked two nights for Good Friday and Easter Saturday to attend family wedding locally and chose Travelodge over a B&B as prefer the budget chains (usually use the Premier Inn or Holiday Inn Express types but nearest were in Dunfirmiline and as needed taxis to get to / from wedding felt that was too far away). Paid £90 for the... More

This is a standard Travelodge that is slightly older than most. It appears to have been well used as it shows signs of needing some refurbishment. The carpet and floor covering in the bathroom are old. However, the sheets are clean and the bed is very good. The room was very warm and the shower had an excellent supply of... More

It is a Travelodge. So similar to ever other Travelodge in the country... However it is a slightly older model, and a little drab around the edges. Rooms clean and appointed. (Note, not "well-appointed"!). Beds extremely comfy though, a big plus! And not too much (if any) traffic noise, which makes a difference. The Travelodge is accessed at the back... More

I should have read the reviews here before I visited Kinross - at least it would have set my expectations more appropriately. This site is tired and in need of refurbishment. For a stopover, en-route, it was OK. You should bear in mind that the site is adjacent to a motorway service area, so expect some traffic noise. The bed... More

I will start with the Good. Bed linen and towels were spotless, thank you. Good powerful shower, again thank you. But sadly that’s where it ends. The minute you go in the door it is Smokey, smelly, dirty and generally not welcoming. Desk regularly left unattended. Staff smoking in the entrance. It is badly in need of updating, and a... More

Tired and needs some upgarding. However, for the money was reasonably good value as it was clean and comfortable.Agree with previously stated comment that front desk was left unattended at times.

Uncomfortable beds & worn, tired old rooms. Not like any other travelodge I'm used to.

An old travel lodge in a run down service area, front desk never had anyone on so anyone could have walked in. Rooms were clean but dated. When we saw the staff they were friendly. Pillows were rubbish and rooms are noisy.
