I loved staying here! Betty, Aileen and Sandra were delightful and so very accommodating. Do not pass this by as you will be so pleased with breakfast and the delightful rooms. The only downside was the lack of a place to hang out in the evening aside from my room.

The Eddlewood is conveniently placed in the middle of Lerwick, within walking distance of bars/restaurants. I stayed there for one night when in Lerwick on business and although the room was a bit dated, the friendly welcome and service more than made up for that. The free wifi was great (especially given the poor phone reception in Lerwick!), breakfast was... More

We spent a week at the Eddlewood last June, and I have been meaning to write a review ever since - the fault is mine, not that of Sandra and Betty, who could not have been more welcoming or friendly. Our flight had been delayed due to fog, meaning that we arrived seven hours later than arranged. I kept Sandra... More

Although a bit pricier than I'd planned for this really is a very good place to stay. Ailean, Betty and Sandra make you feel at home, and are very friendly and welcoming. The room is very comfortable, clean, spacious, lovely showers and Betty makes great filling breakfasts. Located close to the town centre and restaurants.

This was my second visit to the Eddlewood Guest House and it was just as lovely as last time. Charlotte and Phil are very friendly, helpful hosts and gave a warm welcome upon arrival. The top floor room was lovely and spacious and looked out to the sea. There is lots on offer for breakfast and Charlotte's poached eggs are... More

I stayed at this B&B while workinh in Shetland. I arrived a little bit early and the owners had no problem checking me in what so ever. I was in room 4, the room was nice and spacious, had a generois sized bathroom and a nice flat screen TV. The bed was nice and comfortable and the bathroom offered some... More

Really enjoyed my visit to Shetland, partly because we stayed in this b&b - even when the weather was poor, the comfy bed and shower (evert other reviewer mentions it, they are nice!) made it bearable :). When the weather's sunny, jump into the car that just parked outside and drive half an hour to one of the amazing coasts.... More

Eddlewood was an ideal place to stay in Lerwick - situated on the hill with a view of the harbour from the room, only a few minutes walk into the high street and the harbour. Double room was spacious and clean with a large en suite bathroom. Host offered a full cooked breakfast which was excellent. Wifi available. Would recommend.
