Seafield Farm (which is more like a luxury house than a farm) is set overlooking Lerwick town and the sea. It is a 15 minute walk from town, and it is a short walk to the nearest bus stop that serves the south mainland (including the airport). Near this bus stop is one of the two supermarkets on the mainland. There is also parking, in case you choose to rent a car.

Diana and Brian Anderson are quite simply wonderful hosts. The B&B is wonderfully furnished, with a fantastic view. Rooms are cosy (and warm - which is pretty important in the Shetlands, as it can be chilly!).

The daily cooked breakfast usually includes fresh farm produce and was simply fantastic.

Usually, I find something to fault a hotel. I couldn't really find anything with this place! It looked far better than the local hotels we visited in Lerwick and was incredibly homely. The peaceful setting (and large bathtub!) also make for a very relaxing holiday (after you've exhausted... more
