The rooms were nice and spacious. The staff was very helpful. The food was very good. The hotel is located in the center of Kirkwall within walking distance of the Cathedral and castle. The only issue we had is being a family of 5, we were not able to have our two rooms close to one another. More

WE stayed in the hotel for four nights, and although we did not eat dinner in the hotel, the breakfasts were excellent. The food was freshly cooked and there was plenty of choice. The rooms, although slightly old-fashioned, were clean and very comfortable. All the staff were helpful. More

They advertise "executive" single rooms for a higher rate. The room was ok but mine was next to the stairs which had vey little noise protection. kept awake until after 01:00 by couples chatting at normal volumes.
