We had fantastic time in Orkney and the West End Hotel was the perfect spot to relax in at night. Giffy and Robert are great hosts very helpful and good fun. A very welcome atmosphere, with good accommodation and excellent food. Thanks for a great stay will definitely come back.

Orkney is an amazing experience and the west end hotel made it for us. With Giffy and Robert looking after us, we got real insight to Orkney and were really looked after. Comfortable, with excellent food and unparalleled service you would be silly to go anywhere else when exploring Orkney - we will be back!

Good basic hotel, but wasn't outstanding. Room was cramped. Decor dated. Bed comfy. En suite very small. Water pressure poor. Breakfast good. Like the Scottish Fine Soaps toiletries (wondered why not using Orkney soaps until I went in the shop!).

Arrived late off ferry from Lerwick. Could not eat on ferry due to rough weather. Arrived at hotel about 11pm hoping to find a Chippy or takeaway nearby.
