Stayed here for 2 nights recently, the hotel was chosen on the basis of the food first, and boutique hotel second. it didn't disappoint on either. Excellent dinner and the service could be faulted on both evenings. Made welcome on arrival. Room Tip: Ask for a room in the first corridor off reception - better view of Scapa Flow.

A careful chef here takes the best that Orkney has to offer (it is bountiful and of great quality, especially seafood and locally reared beef and lamb) and treats it with care, ensuring everyone can enjoy the great flavours. The service was attentive and friendly.
