The rooms are very shabby-I had the "executive double"-bit of a joke. Stained bedcover, shabby carpetsand furniture plus dirty shower. Stayed in the Kirkwall Hotel last weekend with a friend, we were up visiting old friends & booked in here for three nights. Got a great deal 3 nights for the price of 2 so that was a bonus. It's a good location on the harbour. The rooms are OK (though I thought £90 for single occupancy of a double with harbour view at a 3* was a bit over-priced).
