Very clean rooms. needed an iron to get prepared for a wedding and it arrived in our room 10 minutes after requesting it. The staff were very, very friendly and helpful. Stayed here over the weekend and it was fine. Room was clean and generally it was a welcoming Hotel with friendly staff. Good range of food and excelllent local beers on tap. I would certainly stay here again.

We have stayed here a few times and it is always nice. The staff are friendly and the rooms that we have stayed in are very clean and comfortable, with nice en suites. We will definately stay here again.

The Shore is a real treasure in Kirkwall. A wonderful band of welcoming staff, comfortable, spacious rooms with excellent breakfasts and dinners.
