This was a last minute booking due to refurbishments being carried out at home. Do not let the 2 star rating put you off. Its a lovely hotel that is a mix & match of the old with a modern twist. The staff were incredibly friendly & we were shown to our room....a practice that I had thought disappeared a... More

Positioned conveniently on the main road through Knutsford, the Longview Hotel is made up of multiple units in a classic Victorian terrace. Hopping between the different buildings was a bit of a pain, especially as it rained for much of my stay. My first floor room was of a reasonable size and had all the promised facilities. But it showed... More

The room was clean and comfortable though very old fashioned, one of the lamps didn't work and neither did the mirror light in the bathroom. Breakfast very pleasant (the scrambled eggs weren't rubbery) and staff helpful. On checking in I was told it was £10 more than I was quoted because Mondays are more expensive than Sunday's - though this... More

Dear Sir Thank-you for your recent review, at this moment in time we are currently updating the décor in all of our rooms but as you can appreciate this does take time, in regards to the lighting problems had this been reported to the member of staff on duty they would have immediately replaced them. In regards to the pricing... More

My stay here was really good. Hotel was very cosy and warm. Complimentary toiletries provided and tea making facilities in the room. The location was also very good just 5 minutes walk from the centre. Would definitely stay again. My only disappointment was the cost of breakfast, I thought was very pricey for a full English and coffee at £15... More

I am usually generous in my comments and I can't remember the last time I had an experience in a restaurant or hotel bad enough to mention. Usually, the odd glitch is not significant enough to detract from the overall experience. However, my Longview Hotel stay was so full of minor glitches that they all joined up to leave a... More

Nice hotel. Owners ensure personal touch, every time I visit this place. Good place in Knutsford for stay. Rooms are good and wifi is free. Swimming pool is missing which could add glamour to hotel. Vegetarian options are available as well. Hotel has bunker bar which is nice place to relax with friends in evening.

We stayed just one night on our way back home from Scotland. The staff were welcoming and friendly and the food in the restaurant was fantastic... one of the best meals we have had in a hotel restaurant. Cannot fault the hotel... why only 2 stars ? only thing we can think of is that, as a Victorian building, it... More
