I booked an overnight at Laburnun Cottage prior to flying from Manchester airport. Despite being late arriving as my taxi driver got lost several times, I received a warm welcome from the proprietors and they helped me when I called them from the taxi to ask for directions. In addition they helped me with details of a taxi driver to... More

This B&B is very conveniently situated just outside Knutsford and we stayed for one night following a visit to the Flower Show at Tatton Park. We were warmly welcomed by Rod and Carmen and and had a nice twin room with very comfortable beds, spotlessly clean and everything we could possibly need (including some choccy biscuits!). Breakfast was good, with... More

We stayed here overnight on Sunday 3rd August 2014. We had attended our son's wedding in Winchester and were supposed to be travelling back on the Monday. However there had been a mix up and we decided to set off for home a day earlier. We were lucky enough to be able to took his guest house through LateRooms as... More

Last year my elderly dog & I used the Annexe for four nights. It was ideal the dog could not manage stairs. The Annexe is self-contained & at ground level. It was simply furnished with a very comfortable bed & a handy fridge. The floor was wooden so easy to clean off muddy paws & I could park right outside... More

We stayed as a stopover on the night before flying out of Manchester airport. As others have noted, the room was clean but a bit dated. Breakfast was good. We needed to leave early to catch our flight, and Dave and Stephanie very graciously provided us with an early breakfast. Dave also gave excellent instructions for driving to the airport.... More

The owners here are very friendly and welcoming. The accommodation itself is very very dated, if you want a trip down memory lane then this is the place for you. Lots of 1970s decor, frills and flowery wallpaper. The room was comfy enough and it had free wi-fi but the worlds smallest TV! Breakfast was adequate. My main criticism is... More

We stayed here for one night (3 people, two rooms). Our main reason for choosing the Laburnum was because they are happy to take dogs and are reasonably near the airport. Very nice, clean 70s style house. Rooms were a little small, but I suppose average for this type oft B & B, however room was clean and beds were... More

We attended a wedding at Style last weekend and chose to stay for 2 nights at Laburnum Cottage. A very warm welcome from Stephanie, David, their 4 year old son, Ronnie and the cat. We were in room 1 - clean and comfortable, but rather cramped for space. Breakfasts were good and the 3 course dinner was excellent. We live... More

I go to Knutsford every year in June/July and it is a pleasure to spend some weeks at Laburnum Cottage with two very special owners. I usually stay in the upstairs room in the annex with a private entrance; both rooms in the annex are large, clean, and confortable with all conveniences; but I am sure also the other rooms... More
