We travelled up from the Midlands to visit friends in Lochmaben, arrived at 3.00pm having booked 3 rooms (party of 5) on the internet. Staff were very friendly and welcoming upon arrival and rooms looked clean and tidy with bags of "character". The Manager asked if we wanted an evening meal but we could not tell him as we did... more

We stayed here as part of a wedding in February. Whilst the downstairs of the hotel was very nice the bedrooms were in need of a facelift. They were seriously dated. The most recently refurbished room which the bride and groom occupied was open plan - including the bathroom! You could watch the large lcd wall mounted television from the... more

We stayed here after our wedding in Gretna Green in February. The excellent customer service at this hotel made such a huge contribution to our fantastic day. The staff, especially the managers, went out of their way to accommodate us, even offering to drive us into town when there were no taxis available. The food at breakfast and dinner is... more

We stayed at this hotel from the Friday to the Sunday, great welcome on arrival. On the Saturday night we had a family birthday celebration, the food was excellent and the staff could not have been more attentive, and went out of their way to make our stay really special. The hotel is going through an upgrade programme and I... more

We have just returned from staying here last night and I will tell you one thing i have never been so happy to be home. First of all our room was away down several corridors. It smelt of damp and was cold with horrible furniture. We were attending a wedding at a nearby hotel and my sister had booked in... more

Lovely georgian manor house in need of refubishment and a bit of tlc. That's the only good bit. Our room was shabby. Mismatched furnishings and curtains hanging off the rails. If you are part of a wedding party then you might enjoy this place. if you are unfortunate enough to stay there during a wedding do not expect any attention... more

Very pretty old manor house, but outside of house and bedrooms could do with some renovation. The dining rooms and lounges are very beautiful and lovely places to spend some time. Bedrooms are very old-fashioned with a sink in the actual bedroom! Decor etc is also very old-fashioned. However, the room was comfortable. We had a very nice meal in... more

Stay here for one night. Hotel in a lovely setting. On arriving we were shown to a very small room, a tiny tiny television without a remote control , the bathroom - the shower curtain held on with safety pins, this in a 3* hotel give me strength!!!!! Decided to have a bar meal. Made our choices from the menu,... more

We booked this hotel at the last minute through laterooms.com for two nights; the hotel rate was £110.00 per night for a double room with laterooms.com we got it for £48.00 per room including breakfast. Although we booked for two we checked out after the first night as the hotel was so cold. The staff at the hotel certainly is... more

We spent 5 nights at Lockerbie Manor from the 27th December to the 1st January. A wedding party of 43 people spent the first 2 days and nights there to celebrate our wedding. We can only describe the wedding day as perfect. Everything we had hoped and planned for was catered for by the great team of staff at the... more
