I reserved 7 rooms at this hotel a month ago for a business trip next Thursday only to receive a telephone call this evening stating that 7 rooms were no longer available us. I requested the manager call me back to discuss and he told me they had a contract with another company and didn't think they were staying as... More

I struggled to book a room via their website and when I eventually did I hadn't realised that the date had reset to June (I wanted a July booking) Consequently I ended up with a no show charge (totally my fault) and the hotel enforced their charging policy even though I had made a further booking It's their right but... I stayed at this hotel 1 night and it was 1 night too long. When I arrived, I checked in at the dingy bar area. I was shown to my room up a dull, musky smelling stairway with threadbare carpet. The room which was really cold on entering (no central heating) and when I put on the wall heater, there... More

We visit Lockerbie about every 2/3 months & always pop into this hotel for lunch. It is great value for OAP's as there is a special menu at lunch time. The soup is yummy & everything is home made. Would thoroughly recommend a visit at lunch time.

Stayed there 1 night (5/6th May) whilst doing the Annandale Way. On arrival its a bit confusing..the check in desk is the bar in the pub/restaurant. The pub only closes at midnight on Saturday night so I was awake listening to the music and voices until closure... not great if you're walking all day. The staff was friendly but difficult... More
