We've got 2 small children aged 2 and 6 and have recently stayed at this hotel for the third time. Had the Duplex suite which is a great room for families as the grown ups get privacy and the kids get their own telly!! We recently stayed at the Ravenshill House Hotel with our family and were incredibly disappointed. Unfortunately we did not receive any of the hospitality mentioned in other reviews - quite the opposite - We have never felt so unwelcome at a hotel. The service at breakfast was non-existent , everything seemed to be a chore for the owner who barely... more
Norman and Sheila run this excellent hotel. The food is great for all tastes, especially for vegetarians. If Norman knows you are vegetarian he will even cook you a special dish. Highly recommended. more
Ravenshill House Hotel is and ideal and central location for both north- and southbound travellers and for golfers and tourists visiting Dumfries and Galloway.
