We have stayed at this guest house a few times now and had different rooms each time. The room we had this time was a small double but it served us well for just getting our heads down after our day out. The breakfast is lovely and when I asked for mushrooms on my first morning and they didnt have... More

A nice little B&B with very friendly and helpful staff. Excellent breakfast. Room comfortable - although decor a bit dated - Was clean and tidy. Very convenient for the railway station and located near to bus routes to the university area.

Mr "Garendon Park" is a utter gentleman, and it wasn't that dreadful false façade that so many modern facilities suffer from. He was polite and calm, even when my visiting partner blocked the loo! Bless you Mr "Garendon Park". I needed some peace and quiet for a night and to know that everything was taken care of, and that's what... More

Myself, my husband and 19yr old son stayed here for three nights to attend the annual Download Festival. The hotel is ideally situated on the main road+bus route to Donnington with free parking directly opposite. It's not a chain hotel and this maybe shows in the decor but it is homely, clean and tidy. Nothing was too much trouble and... More

I booked an overnight stay here - got a very good deal. The room was basic and small, but clean and tidy & everything worked. What more does one want? For £35 I though it was much better value than paying twice the amount in one of the big chains. Breakfast for £5 was great - freshly cooked & tasty.... More

Our room was quite small for us. With three single beds in the room, there was not much space for storing bags or walking around. That said, we were really only there to sleep as the rest of our time was spent catching up with family. The breakfast was fantastic and the owners very pleasant and helpful.

I would have liked to put good rather than average but didn't feel able to put very good. A friendly and accommodating owner who provided a late breakfast when we were unable to make the 7.30 to 8.30 slot. Room was clean and homely though the mattress was too soft for my taste but then others may like that. Breakfast... More

We stayed in this hotel three nights, it is more a bed and breakfast than an hotel. We booked a double bedroom but it was 2 beds joint together. Good location to the town centre (10 min. Walking). The room and the bathroom were old and need to be renovated. The room was overlooking a busy road so it could be... More
