Not only were all our needs attended to efficiently with a smile while we were there, the lady at the reception remained unstinting in looking after us after we left as well! I inadvertently left behind my reading glasses in the room we stayed in. I got a call while we were driving back to London from Loughborough advising me... More

A good location and a very nice hotel. There is no parking at the hotel but they have a contract with Tesco across the road - you need to take your parking ticket to the hotel reception to be stamped for a reduction. Currently, it will cost £5 for 24 hours.

Lovely clean and comfortable hotel great service on reception and good location made it perfect for our one night stay also lovely outlook over the canal Mooring at the back, but the best thing was the perfect welcome and assistance from the gentleman on reception.

We had to book in last minute as the place we had booked six months earlier before going to a family wedding was so terrible we walked out. We got two rooms straight away for two nights and they couldn't have been more helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and well maintained. Not a problem if not enough tea... More

Walkimg distance from the centre but you have to pay off site for car parking which was £8 for the night. But the rates are cheap enough to make up for that. Typical Travleodge - clean, fairly quiet and in this case convenient.

Stayed 2 nights in August 2015. Room was clean, well maintained but smaller than most other Travelodges. Furniture layout was dictated by size of room with desk in corner by the window. Inadequate lighting above the desk to make reading easier. Excellently comfortable double bed. Bathroom again smaller than I expected but just adequate. Quiet outlook over canal. No car... More

I really like this hotel and stay here whenever possible. This morning I woke early and spent a pleasant half hour watching a heron on the canalside. Great location, lovely staff and excellent value. You can easily walk to the town from here, and although Loughborough is a fairly standard town, you'll find all you need shop-wise

Great location, right in centre of Loughborough. Parking not on site but just across road, it was however chargeable. Room was the usual good standard of Travelodge, very clean. Only downside was, and not the hotel's fault, it was very noisy during the night and that was on a week day.

Stayed the night before our son's graduation. Booked well in advance on a non refundable deal so got the best price. Greeted by a charming lady, Kat, who was helpful about the local area. The room was very clean and stylish. Receptionist on check out was equally lovely, but didn't get her name. We needed a room and travel lodge... More

The wife and I stopped in this hotel in July 2015 with our one year old in a family room. It's exactly what you expect from a Travelodge. Good size room, if a bit basic, good bed and shower. This place gets a five out of five from us because they spotted we had left one of our child's books... More
