Good reception and welcome but service a little chaotic. We noticed several diners needed to ask for missing items and we found the food average and unimaginative, typical hotel food. 45 min drive from home and would not rush back.

i have just attended a conference in this hotel. The hot lunch we were expecting consisted of small chicken joints and potato wedges, some soup but not enough for everyone, rolls without butter even though we asked for some, sandwiches with skimpy fillings and some crisps. The coffee was watery and bitter. The staff appeared hassled and were uncommunicative. One... More

I approached Quorn Country Hotel to host my sisters Civil ceremony and Henna Party on 6th November 2014. Susan Hill, the Co-ordinator for these events was absolutely fantastic. From day 1, her communication with me was always prompt, we had several meetings to discuss what our requirements were and she would did her upmost best to assist in all situations.... More

My wife and I enjoy trying the different establishments that offer afternoon teas and were looking forward to this hotel as it was reasonably local but what a disappointment, the tea was served in a pot with a chipped spout and the cups were of the old British Rail type, i.e. white, thick, pottery, not bone china which one would... Have not been here for a while but due to un availability else where found my self staying. Have to say the experience was a lot better than my last visit although I did not eat here in the evening. Reception was quick and good although there is a charge of £3 for using a card. Room was spacious and... More

My husband and I treated ourselves to afternoon tea as we really enjoyed this when we go on cruises. Sparkly wine was lovely and a real treat. Plenty of sandwiches and beautiful cakes. The only downsidebwas i had to ask for teapot refill. The whole experience was equal to a P & O afternoon tea and well worth the money.... More

I have stayed in rooms in all parts of the hotel. Rooms starting with 1 are 2 are in the main hotel, rooms starting with a 3 are at the back of the main building and the stairs to these are very steep with door not easy to open. Rooms starting with a 4 are in an annex looking out... More
