A group of us stayed here for a wedding. Everyone agreed it was good value - £35 for a single and £45 for a double. My single room was more spacious than the normal cupboard you get in some places, and a proper sized bathroom. The room was clean and had all the facilities I wanted (TV, coffee making stuff,... The hotel is extremely in need of a major injection of cash & refurbishment, however The staff did well. Because of the lack of sound proofing to floors, walls & doors a good nights sleep is very compromised. In summary, a basic price & a basic hotel.

Booked this hotel (2 nights) as it was in a convenient location for what we wanted to do however, on arrival the receptionist could not find our booking, duly handed her our printed booking confirmation. She said it wasn't a problem anyway as they had rooms available. It did appear to be fairly empty, large car park not many cars.... More

Very friendly helpful staff. Bedrooms a bit dated but clean and adequately furnished. Very good stir-fry for evening meal and excellent breakfast meeting our needs. Plenty of parking and a well kept garden.

The hotel is quietly located in a cul-de-sac on the outskirts of Loughborough. The service was good, especially the young Polish girl who served our excellent breakfast. The hotel looks a little tired but is quite good value for money. I've slpt in more comfortable beds.

The hotel may need a little updating but it's clean, has comfortable beds, and friendly staff. It's a great place to stay if you're visiting the Great Central Railway being just a twenty minute walk. So if you're planning to have a meal and a nice bottle of wine on one of the dining trains then this hotel is ideal.... More

I booked a double room for myself and my Partner and a single for my mother as we were visiting Prestwold Hall Driving Centre for a Driving Experience. Check In was efficient and friendly as we're all staff The rooms were clean but our double room had broken tiles on the bathroom floor, a very loose bath panel and a... More

This was the second stay at this friendly and welcoming hotel - both occasions connected to our work at the East Midlands Game & Country Fair over the weekend. Despite the unpredictable arrival time (traffic!), everyone was hugely polite and welcoming, the rooms were clean and comfortable and the comfort of the bar made sure that an early coffee was... It was a pleasant place to stay, but old and creaky and in need of some work. Location was good for me, but it is out of the city, so check your purpose/needs before you go. The staff were great though.

My friend and I booked a twin room for overnight stay. Arrived late evening to find we were booked into a double room, but coped for length of stay. Hotel needs updating, dark in lounge area and bedrooms and bathroom tatty . Broken tiles on our bathroom floor and ceiling had a stain from what looked like a leak. That... More
