You cannot go wrong with this place, wonderful. The bedrooms are amazing I even had a chair to sit at the dressing table. We were there for a wedding and just happened to hit a heatwave but thankfully the folks gave us a fan which totally saved the day. The cleanliness is incredible and the people who own the hotel... I'm 26 and stayed here myself for a recent competition in Loughborough. Very friendly welcome on arrival. Rooms are decorated in a lovely vintage style which suits the style of building. Ideal location to get to the university or a 2 min walk to town. The price was great and the breakfast was very tasty. I can't fault this place.... More

My family stayed here on a Saturday night and were welcomed by Les and Derek. The rooms were spotless and the the decor wonderful for the period house. Breakfast was well cooked, plenty of it and beautifully presented. Will definitely stay here again.

We stayed overnight this weekend and the owners went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Nothing was too much trouble and the price was great with the benefit of a fantastic full English breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We've stayed here twice now and its very convenient if you need to be in the town. Good value, friendly owner . feels as though you are staying in someone's home, lots of knick knacks and ornaments around the place. Thoughtful touches such as toiletries in bathroom.

My wife and I had booked a meal during the evening on the Great Central Railway. We were only staying one night as meal did not finish until 10.00 at night so we needed somewhere to stay as we had come from London. When we arrived we had a very pleasant welcome from one of the owners. The Hotel was... More

I stayed for one night so I could attend the E & D Theatre Company performance in the glorious Queen' Park. Nice and central with good parking was a great start. I was warmly welcomed to this pristine and newly renovated Victorian vicarage and had a quiet double room (astonishingly comfy bed) with private bathroom for a very competitive price.... More

I stayed for one night while visiting Loughborough University. I had a very large and comfortable room and bathroom. It was clean and bright and the bathroom was well stocked with toiletries. Derek is very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was nice. They kindly let me leave my car for the afternoon after I checked out so I could wander... More

The bed was good, welcome was warm, breakfast was quality, parking was ample, good wifi, close to the middle of town. All good. I'm not giving tips about what rooms to ask for... More

We had a warm welcome on arrival and found the family room to be spacious and clean with all usual ammenities. Each room has a private bathroom alloted to it and although not ensuite the bathroom was also very clean. The only down side was the very small size of the was basin which made washing awkward and the large... More
