Stayed for one night in the block adjacent to the main hotel. The room was well appointed and quiet. WIFI came in loud and clear, double bed was especially big. The shower was amazing, the most powerful shower I have had for the long time, great! Breakfast is served in a very nice extension well prepared and of good quality;... More

Stayed here last minute on business while in Loughborough area. I felt I was interrupting the Manager on check-in and was just handed a key and told "your room is upstairs on left!". A little awkward to be honest. My room was definitely the smallest I have ever stayed in...single bed, just enough room for my bag, 12-14" TV on... More

Picked this place for the last night of a cycling trip before returning home to Derby. Well positioned on the old A6 in Mountsorrel which is now the cycle route. Arrived mid afternoon, parked bikes in private garden, had previously decided to have evening meal there and we were asked to choose our main courses by late afternoon. Room on... More

This was our fourth visit to the restaurant as a group of four and we were again very well looked after. The food was hot, prepared on the premises, professionally presented and very tasty. Service was excellent, with heavy linen napkins and a most pleasing decor. We got very good value for money and were made to feel important -... More

We had bed and breakfast here last sat/sun and it was all excellent. We booked the superior room 11. It Had a very nice sitting area with TV, video, DVD and a selection films. There was another TV in the bedroom. The whole place was spotlessly clean and we were impressed by the friendly staff. Breakfast was taken in a... More

We decided to stay at Mountsorrel as it states it has a 4 star rating. However on being shown to our room, we were initially surprised to see not only our bedroom door but others too, had peeling and damaged paintwork. Inside the very small room was a musty smell and so we opened the window while we went out... More

Stayed here for a couple of nights recently and received a very warm welcome on arrival. We were given a room in the annexe which had a very big and comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit on the small side, but the shower was powerful and there was plenty of hot water. Overall the room was very clean but... More

Stayed for just one night. In a separate annexe, nicely equipped and very clean. Plenty of free parking and option to eat in the hotel offered. Bar available in the hotel which was quiet but reasonably priced. Good nights sleep with no noise. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice. Overall would stay here again if in the area.

What a lovely little B&B. Breakfast was excellent, beds were comfy, owners very friendly and it was so easy just to sit in the bar and relax in the evening. Unfortunately we didn't have dinner there but if the breakfast is anything to go by it'd be very good. We only stayed one night but if we're back that way... More
