Great little B&B with a fantastic sea view, nice breakfast and clean rooms. The owners are very friendly and provide excellent service. The rooms are clean and well equipped. Not far from Africa Alive (a zoo with only African animals). Excellent Chinese restaurant on the next corner.

Our third stay at Britten House and quite frankly wouldn't consider staying in any other B&B at Lowestoft. Rightly ranked as No 1 B&B in Lowestoft and for good reason. Comfortable rooms, excellent breakfast, sea view and friendly hosts. What more could you wish.

We stayed here for an autumn long weekend. Lowestoft is a great location from which to see different places in Suffolk and Britten House offered a combination of character, friendly owners and good value.

This is a great little B&B right on the sea front at Lowestoft. All the rooms are named after famous composers and the house itself was where Benjamin Britten was born.
