We really enjoyed our two nights at this place recently. We arrived on a Friday and enjoyed dinner in the restaurant. It was Bank Holiday and the staff were stretched (though apologetic and friendly) we did wait quite a while to start but then it all came together and we had a lovely meal. Our room was lovely, at the... More

We have been here a few times now it's right in the high street the decor is lovely. There is a market in the high street on a Saturday so it gets very busy. We had the home made soup which was a bit disappointing but the menu is lovely. This is a lovely town and would definitely go there... More

We had a 2 night stay here and had a lovely time! We stayed in the Canterbury room which was really nice. Very clean, the bathroom especially was sparkling. The staff were extremely friendly and Andew was very helpful. Overall we had a wonderful stay and would defiantly come again

First of all Lymington is a a great location and the Angel and the Blue Pig is ideally situated on the High Street to explore the local shops and marina. The free parking was excellent, it felt secure and was easy to get to the hotel, although more direction to where the parking is would have been helpful as we... More

On first impressions on arrival we were very impressed with what we saw. We arrived early so went for a walk until check in at 2pm. On coming back to check in at 2.45pm our room was not ready. Not a huge problem but the attitude of the manager wasn't great, he simply said "well you've been able to check... More

We stayed for one night as a birthday treat for my husband as the hotel was recommended in the Saturday Mail magazine. We stayed in a superior room at the front . Our first impression was that the room was lovely very spacious and well decorated with a lovely size bathroom. The French doors open onto a veranda overlooking the... More

We had a weekend here with our dog. Our room was on the second floor at the front. From reading previous reports we were expecting to be awoken with the setting up of the market but we couldn't complain about the noise at all, I think the double glazing and heavy curtains must have definately helped. Our room was very... More

Nice decor, nice room and general feel. Breakfast good... Stayed friday night and noise from high street was insane and started at about 4am when the town market started to set up. Basically people shouting and hammering their stands together... Staff response was laughter in the morning and very dismissive. They said they had from time to time mentioned it... More

Well, I enjoyed our stay, but my husband got annoyed about the noise from early morning deliveries and, I suspect, if you book a room in the back of this listed hotel, it would be considerably quieter in the mornings, especially on a Saturday, when there is a street market all the way down the High Street! This is a... More
