I was a little concerned about noise comments I had seen but thought perhaps they were exagerated - unfortunately they were not!! we stayed a Tue & Wed night in superior room in front (& most expensive rate). There was no secondary glazing in place which management state has been installed - we were told by reception that installation is... More

We had a lovely stay at the Angel this past weekend. We were booked into a Super King Room which was lovely. We were on the top floor which had about 3 sets of stairs to climb (we would suggest if you have difficulty with stairs to ask for a lower room). We heard no noise throughout our stay but... More

We stayed for 3 nights with another couple and we had lovely comfortable rooms. Huge beds and plenty of space in the rooms. Excellent decor, quite quirky. Very clean with fresh towels and bedding during the short time we were there. We were blessed with excellent weather but it meant we had to leave the secondary glazing (designed to keep... More

After entering the premises with a small group on a Saturday eve, the pub area was quiet but we still decided to sit outside, out of the way. We asked for menus as all were looking to eat a nice meal. We asked 5 times for menus and each time were told someone would be out shortly. It was obvious... More

We stayed here for one night, it's in a great central location. We had a nice room at the rear of the hotel. It was very quiet and we had a very comfortable nights sleep. There is plenty of parking and a small courtyard garden. Breakfast was continental and not a wide selection on offer, although you could have chosen... More

The ironic thing was we never actually stayed!!They booked us for the wrong month. BUT a big thank you for sorting their mistake and booking us into the Stanwell Hotel across the road and picking up the excess tab. I love Lymington and will be back one day and will definatley book the Angel and Blue Pig again?

We booked what we were led to believe was a Superking room. I told the staff member when we booked I was disabled, well, to be honest, I didn't use the exact words, but I did ask if they had disabled parking. We is covered we were on the third floor, with no lift. They did move us to a... More

Stayed 29-06 to 01-07 2014. Got here early, Staff able to put luggage away behind bar & collected later for check in. Check in and out very easy, Staff great. Room very good. Food in restaurant good. Location is very central, not far from shops and nature reserve not far away. Well recommended, Will return.

Had a Superior Room, which was a good size with a very large bed. Modern bathroom, met all our needs for a one night stay. Staff welcome was friendly (Bruno) and efficient, as was service in the restaurant. Food was straight forward, good pub food at reasonable prices. Well presented and tasty. Room rate included Continental Breakfast, which was wholly... More

Nicely appointed pub with great meals, accomodation & such friendly service. Rooms looked very nice but did not stay. Would definitely do so if in the area. Hotel situated in centre of town, very good location.
