My friend and I stayed at A Little Gem at the May bank holidays recently, and had a really lovely time. I really like the homely and country house feel to it, and think it is ideal for a relaxing break. Situated in a quiet little cul de sac, offers the quiet for a restful sleep, but it is also... More

The website certainly does not do this place justice! A great room and a delicious breakfast which was home cooked and made to what we wanted. The room was clean and the host was friendly and good to talk to.

Elaine made us very welcome during our 2 nights stay. Rooms were comfortable and space was good, even the single was fine for our 6'1" son! Breakfasts were very tasty especially the homemade bread! We really enjoyed our conversations with Elaine who is a very interesting lady and this added to the sense of welcome and relaxation. Lymington is a... More

We stayed one night in Elaine's smaller room. After a day sail from Lymington Yacht Haven it was just what we wanted - comfy bed, clean and quiet with a nice home cooked breakfast in the morning. Even a nice little flat screen TV in the room to watch the highlights of the olympics when we got back in. It's... More

Elaine is such a witty person! We had interesting chats in the morning and a lot of laughter, when she served her delicious breakfast and of all her absolutely tasty home made bread, jam and marmelade! (you get the smell of it the previous afternoon, when the whole house is filled with the smell of freshly baked bread). Elaine has... More

elaine is a real character and her B&B is charming. We had the yellow room and were most comfortable. Breakfast was lush and we chatted together whilst she prepared and served it, along with he rhome made bread. Thanks Elaine. Becky and Rob.

Elaine is a lovely host and our two children (aged six and three) loved staying here, particularly as she kindly offered to let them help walk Brona Brown, her terrier. It was a very welcome change to the atmosphere you get in some B&Bs where children are frowned upon or just not allowed. Breakfast was lovely and the bathrooms were... More
