We spent 3 nights here whilst attending a conference in Blackpool. Rooms are nice, comfortable, well equiped and clean. Breakfast has everything that you could need - the 'normal' buffet style. It is a 2 minute walk from some good restaurants (Chinese/Indian/Greek/Italian etc). We didn't eat in theirs as you needed to book a table and it closed at 8.30... more

We've stayed or lunched at the St Ives many times over the last 20 years - firstly with our own children who are now grown up but now with our 2 year old grand-daughter. If you are looking for a modern hotel with great rooms then forget this hotel, but............if you are looking for somewhere with plenty going on for the kids then this is ideal. Just got back from a weekend stay with my husband and I wish I had stayed somewhere else. There seemed to be no atmosphere in the building and the staff all looked miserable. The cleaners looked very young and one told me she was just 14 years old! The decor is very outdated and the hotel could do with decorationg.... more

Came here with friends and family for my 40th. Really enjoyed it. Food great, staff brill, lots for kids, gran and mum and dad so we were all pleased. The rooms not great, small ,not high standard of cleanliness but ok. Just all looks tired and dated. Get passed that and the hotel is a great venue for families. more

just got home from another fantastic break at the st ives..the hotel is wonderful the food is excellent always something foreveryone from roast dinner's to curry and a great choice for children..they can have the same food as adults or there is a childrens selection aswell..The puddings are excellent and everything is served buffet style so you just help yourself.... more
