For us, the Dalmeny just gets better, they are upgrading all the time. We enjoyed our stay again and look forward to the next one. Just one point this time. As a previous recent reviewer said, there were some staff on reception who need to be re-trained. These were two women who we hadn't seen before on the desk and... more

I was at the hotel on a conference and was able to get a cheap deal on the accomodation for myself and partner. The swimming pool, restaurant, bar were very nice. The location is excellent. St Annes is a lovely alternative to Blackpool. My reservations are about Health and Safety. The rooms we stayed in was at the back of... more

MY husband and I in one room and my daughter and her 3year old son in another had a most enjoyable stay at the Dalmeny on the 21 May. We were offered upgraded rooms without even asking for that, and both were spacious with seaviews and a large balcony. However, and it is churlish to mention this, one was a... more

My husband and I stayed at the Dalmeny Hotel from Sunday 19/4/09 to Tuesday21/4/09. We were part of a group who go line dancing. The ballroom was just the right size for our group of approximately 50 people. All staff from reception to waiters to room attendants were helpful and courteous. We stayed in room 106 which is on the... more

We stayed in March for two nights Thursday - Saturday. We paid £50 for Friday and £127 for the Friday B&B. Our room was very spacious with a comfortable settee, a superior room without a sea view. Breakfast was really good and I'm a fussy vegetarian. The lounge overlooking the pool was lovely and one corner had a selection of... more

This is a much extended quaint collection of old and new buildings (winding stairs and corridors) on the sea front at St Annes (beach and leisure factlities) which really manages to balance the needs of adults and small children in a very satisfactory way. Very child-friendly and tolerant yet really good food (dinner menu quite adventurous and excellent breakfasts) and... more

We stayed at the Dalmeny for a Sat and Sun night in Sept - 'we' being 2 adults and our 2 year old. We booked a family room with a sea view (having been told that a double room could not accommodate our travel cot) at the cost of £127.50 Bed and Breakfast. Indeed our room had a fabulous view... more

I stayed here for 4 nights with work colleagues and was pleased with the hotel, food and service. Although my room was next to the creche area there were no children so it was not an issue. A sea view would have been good but as it was business this was not an option. The Atrium restaurant offered some really... more

Conveniently located hotel on the sea front just a short walk away from the town centre and pier. We had never stayed at this hotel before so we booked a sea view room which was large enough and had great views over the beach and a large balcony. Unlike other comments our bed was OK and the decor seemed OK.... more
