I stayed at The Dalmeny for 7 nights with a party of 11. The earlier comments about the restaurant not being big enough I totally agree with along with the morning’s drinks orange juice and evenings desserts being positioned right in the middle of the food queue. The choice in the evenings were repeated several time during the week. We... More

We stopped at The Dalmeny for a long weekend as part of an Anniversary Celebration. Because we extended our stay late in the planning we stayed in two family rooms, both were a good size, one much more recently decorated than the other, but both a good size. In one the kids got their own bedroom. Neither had a sea... More

For £125 a night, The Dalmeny is unbelievably over-priced. To start, the basics are just too far off: the wifi exists in name only and the morning papers are delivered to the room after 9am. Even breakfast is chaotic; the fruit juices are placed amongst the hot food, so you have to queue with the masses just for a glass... More

The hotel is a great place for family's but just a few things let the hotel down. First the food in the main restaurant was a best average. Also the restaurant is not big enough, shoved down in the basement. On the second night we ate in the atrium. After ordering just a main course we had to wait over... More

I used to stay here a lot but many years ago. I really like the hotel, the rooms do vary a fair bit, the location is excellent for the area and the breakfast is great. It's the hotel I aim to stay at when in the area.

Four of us including a 3 and 8yr old stayed for one night, bed and breakfast the cost was £180 which I thought was a steep. The hotel is modern with a large swimming pool, the bedroom was bright and spacious with a sea view, because we only stayed the one night we didn`t get chance to explore everywhere, but... More

Just returned from a two day stay with family attending family birthday party locally. After a shaky start with a rude young lady called Jessica following a mistake I had made I called back and spoke to a lovely lady called Judy who was able to help me with all my queries. Upon arrival at Hotel we were warmly greeted... More
