We frequently stay here and have always been pleased. Rooms have balconies. Ideal for smokers. Nice rooms of a decent size. Two restaurants, one formal, one carvery. Nice food in both. Bar is only small. Great facilities for kids and a spa, gym and badminton courts for adults. Relaxed atmosphere. Not stuffy.

We have just returned from 5 days away at the Dalmeny. This is a fantastic family friendly hotel. There is plenty to keep the kids entertained from morning until night. We stayed on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis and found all the food fantastic. On some nights we ate in the carvery where you can enjoy a 3 course... More

After staying in a horrible B&B in Blackpool the night before we checked in here. Fantastic place my girls didn't know what to do first! So much for the family to do. The rooms are spotless and bank on trend. Perfect! The staff very friendly. Pool great. They had a movie night on which my girls where very delighted with... More

We returned again to the Dalmeny for our summer holiday with our 2 children. The stay was really enjoyable. Good Points: - John and Rachel on reception was really helpful with checking us in and helping us change a few weeks before to a front room with balcony. - The 2 girls who ran the Childcare were fantastic, my kids... We had the worst room ever, it was right at the back of the hotel. We had to climb 2 flights of stairs with 4 kids and 2 baby's. The room wasn't safe there was loose wires hanging down, cold taps that wouldn't turn on the bed looked like mattresses on pallets, it was so dated it was like we... More

We have enjoyed a 6 night stay at the Dalmeny with our 3 children (8, 6 and 3). This is our fourth visit and once again we did not want to come home. Our room was on the 3rd floor and was very clean. The staff at the hotel are very friendly - especially Kellie and Charlotte in the Carvery... More

We have just returned from another fantastic stay at the Dalmeny. This time we had a refurbished apartment with two rooms connected by a kitchen - beautiful rooms in a part of the hotel we had never stayed in before. This is at the back of the hotel which we found to be much quieter than our usual rooms near... More

We booked 3 rooms at 170 pound a night for two nights for 7 people and a 2 year old. We were really looking forward to our stay as we had previously stayed the year before and were very impressed with the hotel. On arrival we were informed one of our rooms had recently been renovated and someone would need to...
