We booked a last minute weekend at The Dalmeny at reduced prices. The room was a front facing room with balcony facing the sea..lovely! I have stayed at the hotel several times with family. The amenities are great for a family. The swimming pool and games room with activities throughout the day and evening to occupy the children. However, The... More

It's many years since I revisited Lytham and St Anne's and I so enjoyed an overnight there. I stayed at the Dalmeny Hotel which brought back lovely memories when we visited as a family all together and the Hotel receptionist gave the same warm welcome. The bedrooms over looking the promenade are really lovely and have been refurbished to a... More

Excellent family holiday destination, plenty of things to do within the hotel for kids of all ages. Our three children (twins @ 6 and one @ 9) were always occupied, either with the hotels facilities - Swimming pool, lounge area, cinema, games room, or the excellent entertainments team - Full of energy and enthusiasm, even managing to have me running... I went here on the first week of the Scottish summer holiday, so it was relatively quiet. Room was good, a family room with a separate room for the single. food was amazing (we were on the dinner bed and breakfast deal) BUT this was only because there wasn't enough people staying in the hotel to open up the carvery... Thank you for taking the time to review your recent stay with us. I was concerned to learn that you were somewhat disappointed with certain aspects of your visit. I note that you enjoyed the food served in the hotel restaurant, which was the sole option for dining during your visit, as the Carvery Restaurant was closed. I can, however,... More

Thank you for your constructive comments I was very concerned to learn of your disappointment with the two rooms offered during your stay. I have passed these to our Executive Housekeeper for her urgent attention. Value for money and facilities for the family first class. It does what it says on the tin, it lives up to its star rating but you cant expect gourmet food or service, its the second time of staying here and I would definitely return.

Literally the worst hotel I've ever stayed in! The room was massive but hadn't been touched since the 1950's, very outdated. The bedding had stains on and the room was generally dirty, the TV didn't have a remote so i requested one, a staff member came with one which would only work if you forced the buttons down and were... I can only apologise profusely for the standard of room allocated to you on this occasion. We are in the process of refurbishing all rooms within the hotel, but unfortunately the room you occupied was a room still awaiting an update.
