We stayed at the Chadwick Hotel In June we treated our daughter and granddaughter to a mini break. The hotel car was quite small as a consequence we had to park on the road which when you've got a two year old and a mountain of luggage is not a pleasant experience. The situation did not improve when we booked... More

I am writing this revue based on the price paid for this 3 day break. Yes the room was a bit dated but very clean with all the facilities needed and a comfortable bed. The public areas were great and very much up to date. It cannot be easy upgrading the hotel all at once as the finance needed would... More

Nice hotel, excellent food, wonderful staff We had a standard room on a Ncrowd deal. The room (20) was large with a double and a single bed. Bathroom had bath and powerful shower Hotel right on the prom, ideal to stroll the seafront with stream, waterfalls and ponds hosting lots of breeding ducks. Spent hours watching ducklings climbing rocks

room very poor more like a single room with a double bed in it, bathroom very dated with mortar coming off the tiles and shower didn't work very well, worst off all had no sleep at all due to very windy conditions which I expect, but not with the barge boards and loose tiles on the roof banginging all night,... Not really suitable for disabled people. The lift is tiny and hubby had to go down twice to bring luggage to room. Room was adequate but bed was very firm. Spa bath was a treat. Unable to access swimming pool and jacuzzi because the entrance was down stairs. Breakfast was very good and the serving staff pleasant. Reception staff seemed... More

Just had a really nice break at the Chadwick Hotel. You cannot deny that the hotel is dated and stuck in a time warp, but. The staff are brilliant, the food was great especially breakfast & the hotel is very clean. Pool and sauna were good and our room was very comfortable. We will go back.

Could not fault staff at this hotel, all very welcoming and helpful. The public areas in the hotel are comfortable and clean and I understand from reading the GM's response to other reviews that a refurbishment is planned or the whole hotel. The sooner the better, I think. The hallway and stairs are very disappointing, old, tired decor in dire... More

Pleasant hotel and we were fortunate to get a sea view room whilst staying for a family funeral. Good breakfast that saw us through most of the day. The room that we had was lacking in powerpoints as there was one for the TV and one other. All other points were switched Spurs with appliances attached. Plenty of hot water... More

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2015

Went for a short break to relax. We chose our evening meal from the snack menu and had it in the lounge area of the hotel. The food was hot, well presented and very tasty, served by the barman Adam who was very polite and talkative to all guests. Breakfast was very hot also. The service from staff in the... More
