Hotel looks good from the outside, unfortunately that's where it ends. Food is on par with a weatherspoons style menu with a price tag to match a lot of high end restaurants, only decent thing was the 1 sausage you get on the "full" English. Rooms are basic to say the least, we stayed in the Simpson room, bathroom was... More

First impressions are good, the hotel is very old, full of character with lots of nooks and crannies to give you that olde world feel. I was here to be part of a wedding that was handled wonderfully by Tory the owner whom is phased by nothing including a demanding bride. The venue for the wedding was lovely, the ceremony... More

I can honestly say this hotel & restaurant is the best within the Wye Valley. Me and my family came across the Old Court Hotel 3 years ago and fell in love with it and even took friends this year. We recommended this to our friends so much so that i was worried it would not live up to our... More

Average chef but from what I saw at my friends wedding trys to prove she is gordan ramsey by bullying the staff under her.Does not care clients are listening. Needs a serious reality check she is an average cook pretending to be a 5* chef! All she is good 4 is Mcdonalds floor sweeper. All other kitchen and front of... More

I visited the Old Court this weekend with some of my family. We were lucky to enjoy the small amount of good weather this bank holiday in the extensive garden behind the hotel. Despite being clearly rushed off their feet the staff were very attnetive and nothing was too much trouble. We had the camambert, garlic bread and duck pancakes... More

Along with my wife, family and friends, we've been using the Old Court for many years. The building is delightful (especially the Tudor dining room where we have enjoyed countless family Christmas lunches). The staff have always been friendly and helpful, the rooms are very comfortable and the gardens and grounds are beautifully kept. Highly recommended!

Stayed here for a weekend break.Beautiful hotel and surrounding area. Room was very clean and well decorated with a very comfortable bed. Food was excellent with plenty of choice. Hotel staff couldn't do enough to make our stay enjoyable. Would definitely recommend The old court hotel as a great hotel to stay at.

This was the most "extraordinary" Wedding Reception - which was planned & in our diary as a BAR MEAL. This gentleman booked a Bar Meal for 21 people at a cost of £233.10. He did not meet with us about a "wedding reception", gave us no indication that the "Evening Reception" was to be held at The Old Court Hotel... More
