We stayed here for two nights in Room 5. This was an excellent choice because the room overlooks the River Wye and it was lovely to see the canoes there. The hotel is beautifully decorated and spotlessly clean. The breakfast is really first class with a proper fruit salad available and various cooked breakfasts. My husband had a full English... More

We've now stayed here a couple of times and had a brilliant all-round experience. Beautiful setting on the river, friendly and professional hosts, well decorated and equipped rooms with vg showers, and a most excellent choice of breakfasts. There are also a couple of good places for dinner within walking distance. We've stayed at a lot of hotels and b&bs... More

Darren and Elena are excellent hosts providing a great welcome after a long drive, excellent advice for local restaurants and a wonderful breakfast to set us up for our on-going travels. When we arrived, we were treated to refreshments in the lounge area. Our room had a beautiful view of the River Wye and the town beyond. We only stayed... More

An idyllic guest house in a beautiful location. The house is spacious, comfortable, peaceful and immaculate. We were lucky to get a last minute Saturday booking. Warm and friendly hosts made us feel completely welcome. Fantastic breakfast chosen from a large menu. Wish we had the time to stay longer. We will definitely be back.

We spent a couple of days at the Bridge House in early July. Having been greeted by Darren we were invited to take our picnic lunch into the garden by the river overlooking the town of Ross-on-Wye. Our room (No.1.) was very comfortable, decorated in keeping with the style of the house, and well equipped with a lovely roll top... More

We booked relatives into this amazing hotel over the weekend of a family wedding and realised we had discovered one of Herefordshire's hidden gems. The welcome they received was second to none, they loved every moment, from the fabulous river and castle ruin viiews to the exceptional decor and history of the building.
