An idyllic guest house in a beautiful location. The house is spacious, comfortable, peaceful and immaculate. We were lucky to get a last minute Saturday booking. Warm and friendly hosts made us feel completely welcome. Fantastic breakfast chosen from a large menu. Wish we had the time to stay longer. We will definitely be back.

We spent a couple of days at the Bridge House in early July. Having been greeted by Darren we were invited to take our picnic lunch into the garden by the river overlooking the town of Ross-on-Wye. Our room (No.1.) was very comfortable, decorated in keeping with the style of the house, and well equipped with a lovely roll top... More

We booked relatives into this amazing hotel over the weekend of a family wedding and realised we had discovered one of Herefordshire's hidden gems. The welcome they received was second to none, they loved every moment, from the fabulous river and castle ruin viiews to the exceptional decor and history of the building. A brilliant find, and very, very highly... More

Have just returned from a few days in Ross on Wye, an area never visited before. We really enjoyed our visit to the area and the icing on the cake was our stay at The Bridge House. Darren and Elena could not have been more welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. The room was spotless. The cooked breakfast looked beautiful,... More

This is a lovely renovated house with beautifully decorated spacious rooms and excellent common facilities downstairs. The owner is charming friendly and helpful. Touches such as coffee and cake on arrival help create a really pleasant experience. Breakfast was first class with gourmet sausage and great bacon. Plenty of parking, a pub just over the road and a 10 minute... More

We were made very welcome by charming Darren and Elena to their lovely, enviable home where we spent two very comfortable nights. Breakfast was perfect. On top of all of this Darren kindly rescued us when our taxi failed to turn up! We couldn't recommend them more.

Stayed here for just one night, but would highly recommend this to anyone staying in Ross. Great location on a bend in the Wye, with views of the river and the castle. One of the most stylish bed and breakfast I have stayed at, with an incredible and tasteful design element. Room 5 is fantastic, in the 'quiet' part of... More

We were two mature couples and I was the only one of the four of us with any complaint about the Bridge House due to my extreme sensitivity to noise. Darren and Elena were very welcoming and have renovated the Bridge House to a perfect standard. They served an excellent breakfast and gave us a very good recommendation for dinner.... More

We stayed for 3 nights in room 5, which had a lovely view of the river. We were welcomed by Darren who offered us tea and carrot cake. Breakfast was excellent and consisted of delicious local produce. The location was ideal for exploring the local area. We visited National Trust properties nearby. Darren and Elena were excellent hosts, friendly and... More

Just spent two nights at the Bridge House and had a really good time. Everything was good about our stay from a lovely room to the delicious breakfasts. Many thanks to Darren and Elena for their hospitality. Will definitely recommend Bridge House to friends and family.
