Great pub. Stayed in the area and went here 3 times for food and drinks. Steak night is not to be missed - excellent chef. Also had burgers another night which were immense. They are dog friendly too, inside the pub there is a sofa area which has been done out like a living room with lots of books and... More

A group of us stopped here for lunch and were greeted by what appeared to be an overworked member of staff, dealing with the whole lunch service on her own. This would excuse the abruptness of her attitude but not the argumentative and potty way she dealt with the flow of mistakes with our order. Only 2 of our 8... More

After being messed about by one B&B, we found the Inn on the Wye on Laterooms. What a find, beautiful location, lovely chalet room located in the car park so you could park right outside. Nice room, clean and well appointed. Tea, Coffee and Biscuits. Nice Toiletries. Excellent staff friendly and nothing too much trouble. Excellent Breakfast. Would certainly recommend... More

We recently had our wedding at the inn on the wye. I was a little worried as it had changed owners twice in the two year period from when I had booked. But I needn't have been worried at all. James was brilliant. He was able to give us a great package for a very reasonable price. The day ran... More

We called in for lunch today. The bar staff were friendly and accommodating when taking our order and the food arrived fairly quickly. Unfortunately, it was terrible. The ham was grey and the chicken & gammon pie was over salted, looked underdone and the chicken had an unpleasant texture. The sausages were chewy, salty and looked unappealing. The vegetables were... More

I'm writing this review specifically for any anglers considering using the inn on the wye as a base for fishing the wye. Me and a mate stayed for two nights and fished the kerne bridge beat via the wye and usk foundation. The pub was perfect in every way - you walk to the beat from the inn very easily,... More

We had planned a stay at the Inn on the Wye as part of our honeymoon and booked via Booking.com. On arrival at the Inn we were told that they had no record of our booking and were in fact fully booked due to a wedding that weekend. When we asked about why the booking might not have been recognised... More

We were attending a friends celebration in Goodrich. After viewing the facilities in November they booked accommodation for 4 couples in the main building of this establishment. A perfunctory welcome and we were directed to the chalets, not what we expected. Despite our hosts protestations and excuses that Bookings .com had reallocated the rooms, we were left with little option... More

So food was nice. Service not great. Got asked about 3times what theyd written on the pad that we'd ordered. Ordered drinks. Took 20 mins to come to us even after they asked "is there anything else?" So I said "just our drinks plz" and the girl just giggled. The young lad on the bar was awesome though. Attentive. Apologetic.... More
