After a somewhat scary drive along a very long winding lane we arrived at the well signposted Doward Park campsite. What can I say.. It was beautiful. Very well maintained, very helpful family running it. The tents were well spaced out, lots of tree cover, toilets and shower block was sufficient and clean. The site is on the edge of... More

This is a great campsite for families who enjoy quiet camping. Set up a narrow road in the middle of some woods, with just basic but clean facilities this is definitely the place to come for a relaxing break. Our girls enjoyed playing in the play area in the woods and particularly enjoyed developing the den with other children. At... More

A small campsite, easy enough to find if you follow the instructions, although it does take quite a bit of driving round really narrow country roads, and easy to get lost in the area if you don't pay attention to the instructions! Booking and arrival was fine - straightforward administration. The camp layout is pleasant - its only a small... More

For my first time camping, Doward Park was a great choice! Obviously at this time of year it was rather quiet so we had a choice of pitches, but the whole site was still well maintained and looked after. The facilities were clean and lit up at night so easy to find when nature calls at an inopportune time... ;-)... More

Stayed at Doward Park with friends for the weekend. Campsite was well maintained, clean and had everything needed for a relaxing weekend. It's a small site off the main drag and was quiet enough to have your own space but not too far away from the main road or the rivers make it inaccessible. I'd stay here again.

We chose this campsite to meet up with a small group of friends, some with tents and some with small camper vans. The owners sorted us a group of pitches together in their wonderfull campsite. The facilities were good and clean with pkenty of hot water ,and the staff helpfull. The campsite was both child friendly and quiet. The pitches... More

We’d been told this area was lovely by friends so decided to take our new tent for it’s first outing and after some research we found Dowards Park campsite and it sounded just the sort of place we were looking for, the reviews on UKCampsite.co.uk & Trip Advisor sold it to us. We telephoned to book and within a few... More

Just returned from Doward Park Campsite.... A real gem in the Wye Valley close to Symonds Yat and the River Wye.. A small and friendly site, better than we could have expected. Pitches are medium size, we had pitch 20 which gave us privacy, but looking around most of site the use of trees and bushes gave a sense of... More

first used this wonderful site 10 years ago when it first opened and returned this july for 7 nights,Was easy to book and had great directions over the telephone on how to get there without a satnav,on arrival was so pleased to see that it still had massive and well looked after pitches, so that didn`t feel cramped at all.found... Very nice. Quiet, right at the top of the hill. As with all sites, there are some rules and conventions to ensure all can enjoy the facilities. Our party of 4 adults stayed for 2 days in a camper van. Other campers were families with small children in tents and other couples in camper vans. I agree the spots were... More
