Stayed for 2 nights while visiting The Birds Of Prey Centre at Newent and wish we could have stayed longer. We had the attic suite with the fantastic views and although I am arthritic I managed the quaint staircase well enough. The suite was immaculate and beautifully presented with more than adequate storage space including a walk in cupboard in... More

Stayed here with 2 mates whilst walking the Wye Valley Way. Simply one of the cleanest, friendlies, nicest places I have stayed in. We were given the Family Suite of a double and twin room with shared bathroom and small seating area. Views across town and country, great food, clean....just the place you could retire to in order to run... More

How lucky were we to find this little gem!! Near to the river and the town, such an ideal spot. Our room was fantastic with two double bay window seats, a sofa and the largest bed we've ever seen! The breakfast was possibly one of the best we've eaten and plenty of choice too. Andy the owner was so helpful... More

This is probably one of the nicest and best value bed and breakfasts I have stayed in for a while. The setting is very good and the place is scrupulously clean. We had booked a family room online, what we received was more like a suite. We had the top floor with two separate rooms, hall, bathroom and sitting area.... More

Beautiful room which was spotless! Lovely hosts and great location. Would definitely stay here again. Only aspect which would make it a 5* review would be if breakfast was improved. They had run out of half the options on the second morning despite being only the second couple to breakfast.

Probably the nicest room we have stayed in. Double bay windows with window seats overlooking the river Wye and surrounding area. Helpful and friendly owners with plenty of local knowledge and good advice for restaurants - try Yaks and Yetis. Good breakfasts. We will stay again.

This is probably the best guest house I have ever had the pleasure of staying in! It is a lovely place which is well appointed and managed fantastically. The owners are friendly, welcoming and most helpful. The decor is lovely and very well maintained. I stayed for a weeks holiday along with my father and we loved every minute. The... More

Very well appointed B&B stones throw from town but quiet, with lovely views over the river. Tastefully decorated bedroom with comfortable bed. House is very old and quirky. Dining room is calm and inviting as are Andy and Beth. Poached eggs to die for. Stayed for four nights, fantastic. Definitely going back.

We spent three nights at the B&B and couldn't fault it: attractive, clean room (with a super view of the Wye River); delicious home-cooked breakfast (lots of choices); very friendly and helpful owners who gave plenty of advice on what to do and where to eat. We felt totally at home.

We stayed at this establishment over a bank holiday weekend and used it as a base to travel out to the Forest of Dean and its surrounds. The guest house owners (Andy & Beth) were equally welcoming with their warmth and personality. The double room was excellent, comfortable, quiet with a view over the river Wye. Breakfast was always a... More
