Great location just off High street, made very welcome, clean tidy rooms. Patrick was full of good advice, but we ignored his direction for food and ate at Man of Ross, good decision by us and went back for more food twice, try it. Small town with plenty of pubs Doombar in many of them. Thanks Patrick for our stay... More

Stayed with Patrick last week on our way home from travelling. Booked on day of stay and had a telephone call from Patrick confirming booking and advising of road systems and parking which was appreciated. The house overlooks a church which is very pretty and there is a newly refurbished hotel minutes away which has lovely views over the welsh... More

How lucky was I to pick Linden Guest House to stay while visiting friends & family in the area. My room was very clean & comfortable. Patrick was the perfect host, nothing was to much trouble, great conversation while he cooked breakfast, which was perfect. Will be returning.

We stayed four nights at Linden house, and had a very enjoyable stay.Full marks to Patrick for running a great B&B in a lovely location, very close to the town and the river. Highlight of our trip was seeing the view from Symonds Yat Rock, about 8 miles away .The breakfast was well cooked and very tasty. We felt very... More

Having stayed here many years ago, we returned to this friendly little guest house for a weekend walking break. The owner Patrick was friendly and helpful, and cooked a great breakfast, freshly made to order. The rooms are small but comfortable and reflect the character of the building, although they are looking a little tired. The guest house itself is... More

Really good experience. We have been going to Linden House for many years and we are never disappointed. A warm welcome always awaits us. The bedrooms are quite small but very tastefully decorated and really warm & homely. Beds are very comfortable. Lovely view from the window over Ross-on-Wye's beautiful church. The owners are warm and interesting people who are... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was comfortable, the breakfast was excellent and made to order by the host Patrick. If Patrick rings you in advance of your stay to give you some information and a code for the building......don't leave it behind as we did! If we'd had the code the process of "checking-in" would've been easy... More

The room we stayed in (Room 1) was a little small and could perhaps do with a little modernising. However, you can look straight past that as Patrick is the most wonderful host. The night before we arrived Patrick rang to give us a few bits of information; the code for the front door, where to park etc.. On our... More

We received a very warm welcome upon arrival and invaluable help parking!, Patrick proved to be an excellent host throughout our stay! The guest house itself was lovely, since a group of us were staying, we had a couple of rooms and the little self-catering apartment, all of which where very clean, well presented and had lovely views of the... We stayed here for two nights while doing some canoeing and walking in the area. The rooms were lovely with beautiful views over the churchyard, breakfast was fantastic and Pat was a wonderful host. I'd definitely go back if I was in the area again.
