I have just stayed at Raglan House for one night. Everything I needed for this night stop was there. The room was well-equipped and comfortable with all the necessary luxuries such as TV, en-suite and tea/coffee-making facilities. The breakfast in the morning was especially good and of a very high standard. If you're looking for a cheap and cheerful place... More

Just got back from a stay at this lovely Bed & Breakfast. It is located right in the centre of town which is full of shops for everyone. The Bed and Breakfast itself was lovely, couldn't fault the rooms very comfy. A very warm welcome from the owners who couldn't do more for us. They run the joined café under... More

Raglan House is located in Broad St, a tea room, cafe adjoining. Servive was polite, minimum, no tidy done in bedroom, we stayed Sat, and Sun nights. No attention to detail. Breakfast Sunday morning stops at 9.00 a m!!Who goes on holiday to rise at 8.30 for breakfast??Of course, our fault, not that of Raglan house. When we checked in... More

Very nice clean, centrally located B & B with excellent cooked breakfast and attentive service throughout. No lift and stairs a bit steep for those with limited mobility. I booked via Expedia who took my payment with credit card but Raglan House said they had not been paid so I paid again on leaving. When credit card bill arrived I... More

Needed a place to stay on business overnight. £45 for room and breakfast isn't to be sniffed at anywhere, but it's a great little gem. A nice welcome introduction, decent room and shower and hot drinks and biscuits. It is right in a busy street so there's going to be a bit of noise but nothing too noisy. I've stayed... More

Friendly and accommodating owner (not aloof as other reviewer thought), very good breakfast, comfortable room and location convenient to my requirements as stop-over for End to End cycle ride. Also had somewhere under cover to keep my bicycle.

Have stayed here several times over last three years and always been very happy. It has recently changed hands. Linen looking tired and worn. Initially it was just acouple of niggles no hand wash in the dispenser or bath mat for floor so had to use hand towel.at breakfast vegetarian option by arrangement so I asked for mushrooms on toast... Stayed for one night in May. It was clean, breakfast nice, fresh and cooked to order. The floor in the room was very uneven. Don't think I'll stay here again. Very central though. Owners a bit aloof I thought.

We booked this overnight stay to attend a local wedding, we don't usually book a B&B, usually preferring to go for a larger hotel. The Raglan House was excellent with room facilities being as good, if not better than many large chain hotels we have stayed at before. The room was spotlessly clean, warm, comfortable bed, large soft towels, free... More
