We have just spent the night here at John and Hilary's for the 6th time now, and every visit gets better! After a day at Cheltenham races, my family and I (6 couples) travelled onto Broome Farmhouse to see out our evening and relax. Upon our arrival we received our usual friendly greeting by John. After an hour relaxing in... More

A fabulous farmhouse that is slightly damp smelling but so full of character that we absolutely loved it. If you want modern, spotless and immaculate avoid but if you love interesting, quirky and friendly then this is for you.. The breakfast is amazing with a huge bowl of fresh fruit salad to dip into followed by a full English 😀... More

Thankyou for your comments and sorry about the damp smell, we had had a spillage in the cider cellar which you know is immediately beneath our ground floor and this had drifted upwards - as it does. This will not be repeated as cider sales are moving to the pub in the village that the farm has recently taken over... More

If you want a peaceful stay away from it all then this is for you. Peace, quiet, good food, brilliant home made cider and perry from the cellar and excellent hostessing! This is a superb place to stay. The welcome with tea, coffee (or cider) with home made apple cake is just the start of a great stay. Wake to... More

Great location overlooking countryside with the old world charm of staying at a farmhouse. Excellent host and very personal place with only 3 rooms. Great local pub (the yew tree) doing good homemade food at reasonable prices.

We needed a rest, found this B&B on Laterooms, most of the reviews were positive so we thought we would give it a go. We are so very glad we did, what a warm welcome; tea and cake and a lovely chat :) The bed is the most comfortable I have ever stayed in away from home and the breakfast... More

As someone who spends most weeks staying away for work, it was a huge pleasure and delight to find such lovely, warm and welcoming hosts as John and Hilary. On arrival John gallantly carried my heavy bag upstairs and showed us the 2 rooms we had (there are only 3 in total). I had the yellow room (my favourite colour!),... More

Lovely people. Superb breakfast; but do not expect the scrambled eggs with smoked salmon to be a 'light' alternative! Never eaten better scrambled eggs and had half a salmon [at least!!]. Would certainly stay again and recommend to family and friends. Thank you John and Hilary.

Hilary and John Draper are great mine hosts, you'd hard pressed to find better. They are extremely welcoming taking our bag up to a lovely room which had outstanding views over the countryside.
