I stay at Brookfield House several times a year on business, friendly hosts, good location and a very good breakfast for a reasonable price. Colleagues of mine now use this and all have had similar good experiences. There's a fair few restaurants to chose from, all within a 15 minute walk, a few good pubs too.

We stayed here for two nights, on our way back home and of the two B&B's we stayed at this was the best. Lovely, friendly couple who run it, with great recommendations for things to do and places to eat - try the Moody Cow and the Kings Head - both great. Lovely big house, where you can use the... More

We have stayed at Brookfield House frequently over the past few years. During this time the standard has never fallen below the very high levels we encountered on our first visit. The beds and bedrooms are very comfortable. The hosts, Robin and Kaye are very friendly, informal, with nothing being too much trouble. There are a number of good restaurants... More

We had a lovely weekend thanks to this very comfortable B&B, fantastic welcome from the hosts and the most delicious coffee cake I've had in ages. Our room was enormous and the bed very comfortable, the adjoining single room was perfect for our son. Brilliant breakfasts.

We could not fault Brookfield House, on arrival we were greeted with a tasty afternoon tea with homemade cake. The room was large, light and airy with a good selection of toiletries and wonderful thick fluffy towels, an abundance of tea and coffee with enough milk to last a week’s stay. We enjoyed the plentiful breakfast, a selection to suit... More

My husband and I recently spent four nights at Brookfield House while making an exploratory trip to Herefordshire and Wales with a view to possibly settling in this part of the country. Brookfield proved to be an excellent base for this purpose. Our hosts, Robin and Kaye, could not have been more welcoming and hospitable. They provided us with invaluable... More

We stayed at Brookfield House for three days in March while visting our son and his fiance. We were made very welcome by Robin and Kaye and the accomodation was excellent. We were shown to a spactious, clean and nicely furnished room.with a large and comfortable bed. The breakfasts were superb. The accomodation is within easy walking distance of the... More

We stayed at Brookfield House for a weekend in December 2013 to attend a wedding in Much Marcle. Robin and Kaye made it an exceptionally wonderful time and couldn't have been more hospitable. We were three couples: one in their 20's, one in their 50's and the other in their 80's and we all found the accommodation and breakfast to... More

A simply delightful small hotel superbly located for exploring the Wye Valley. We were met by the owners Robin and Kaye complete with the best coffee and walnut cake we have EVER had the pleasure of eating (and my wife is a chef) and a charming friendly dog called Ronnie - delightful! The owners were a truly an example of... More

I don't think we could have found a better venue for our short break to the Wye Valley this week. The standard of accommodation, service and catering is excellent. The room was spacious, tastefully furnished and spotlessly clean. Robin and Kaye are the warmest, most engaging hosts who are always prepared to go the extra mile to make your stay... More
