As soon as we arrived we had a lovely welcome from Brian and Nola. The room was lovely and the breakfasts were great. They are super hosts and nothing was too much trouble. We had a truly relaxing stay in this fantastic part of the world made even better by being able to go back to such lovely accommodation. Thanks... More

We stayed with Nola and Brian for 3 nights from 24th Sept. in their lovely B&B. They made us feel like lifelong friends. Nola's home baked bread added to the delicious breakfast and Brian's free taxi service from Salcome was a boon after a meal in one of the restaurants. We had a very enjoyable stay and wouldn't hesitate to... More

We stayed at Threshold for 4 nights at the end of September (During the great unexpected hot weather :-)). Nola and Brian welcomed us into their lovely home, with tea and biscuits. We all instantly felt at ease, at home and made to feel very very welcome. My husband and I had the double room which was very comfortable and... More

From the moment Brian and Nola welcomed us with tea and biscuits we knew we had picked a special place for our 3 day break. As two mature female holidaymakers, Nola and Brian made us feel instamtly comfortable, recommending places to eat and even offering to take us and pick us up from Salcombe. Although our room was tight on... More

We stayed with Nola and Brian for three nights in mid september and were very well looked after. We stayed in a room that had a waterbed, which was a first, but was not as i had expected and was comfortable. The shower cubicle also doubled as a steam room which received plenty of use from my wife after our... More

Everything good that can be said has already been said in these reviews, and every word is true. We had the most relaxing break and Nola and Brian treated yus as part of the family. The water bed was a real treat and we slept like logs. Our dietary requirements (Vegan) were taken care of with no fuss and we... More

We stayed at Threshold for five nights at the end of June as a base for a walking exploration of the area. We were fortunate that the weather was kind but we were delighted with both Salcombe and its surroundings and the warm welcome we received from Nola and Brian which included tea and cake on the lawn. Their home,... More

We have just returned from a 4 night break in Salcombe. The weather was very good but what made the whole experience excellent was the choice of accommodation .We had a lovely double at the Threshold B&B in Longfield Drive which is only 10-15 minutes walk in to Salcombe. Nola and Brian were lovely hosts and even offered to pick... More

We've just returned from a 5 night stay at Threshold. Nola and Brian were the perfect hosts. Our large double room was very comfortable with fantastic views and was complete with waterbed (a new experience) and en-suite shower/steam room. As we were on a walking holiday, breakfast was important and fulfilled our expectations. The B & B was a short... More
