We have just come back from a few days away at the Hope & Anchor. Our deluxe double room was very spacious, with flat screen TV, sofa, ensuite with both bath and separate shower. Even better was being able to sit on the window seat at the end of the day and look at the sea just 50 yds away.... more
The Hope & Anchor Inn is situated on the seafront in Hope Cove, a quiet seaside in South Devon. On arrival we sat outside in the ample seating area at the front of the inn and sampled the local bitter, excellent.! Our room was very clean and the staff had even folded the toilet paper into a point which impressed... more
we have just returned from a frustrating stay at the hope & Anchor.our en suite double room had no hot water throughout our 4 day stay & we were fed a load of rubbish excuses from the management..they obviously have a faulty boiler & wont pay to fix it.The bedroom carpet was badly stained too.
