Every good thing that has been said about this lovely farmhouse is true - and then some! Hilary and Robert are lovely, hard working people who make you feel really welcome. Views of the fields and hills from the house are striking and the rooms are spacious and clean, including the visitors lounge.. The local pub, just down the road... More

We are Beera veterans but still like to post reviews after each (frequent!) visit. I think we have used every alternative to 'excellent' in the dictionary, but excellent is what Beera remains in every respect. The highlight of our latest stay was the beautiful Charolais cattle.

We have just returned from a wonderfully relaxing stay at the Beera farm house. Warm welcome cream tea on arrival. Breakfast exceptional, which included enjoying watching the many species of birds coming to the bird tables. Evening meals worth taking up. Hilary's cooking delicious and wholesome. Room clean, comfortable and inviting. Beautiful views, great ambiance. Thank for looking after us... More

We have just returned from a four night stay at Beera farmhouse B&B. I cannot put into words adequately just how delightful our hosts, Hilary & Robert were. The room was immaculate, Hilary's cooking is annoyingly excellent (I thought I wasn't bad!), their attention to making everything right for their guests is surely unsurpassed. We're already looking forward to returning... More

We often think back to our stay around Dartmoor and the fabulous stay we had at Beera B&B, the lovely family, the delicious evening meal and hearty breakfast, the outlook onto the meadows and the nosey greeting we received from the cows as we returned from our outings, We would highly recommend this B&B and apologise for our late review... Beera Farmhouse is situated in the deep secluded countryside, giving you a calm and relaxed break away from it all, with breath taking views over the rambling countryside. The breakfasts are delightful taken with a lovely view of the bird feeders, we saw many birds including a woodpecker that proved very difficult to get a photograph of but managed it... More

Beera has deservedly gained excellent reviews on Trip Advisor. We have been visiting for over a decade and couldn't agree more. It would be easy for such an establishment to rest on its laurels - but Hilary Tucker hasn't done that. She has worked hard to continually upgrade an already excellent farmhouse, with re-decoration and innovation. Staying with her and... More

My husband and I came to Beera to enjoy the countryside, and we couldn't have picked a better place. Beera is like heaven on Earth... The view from the rooms was phenomenal. It was lovely to wake up and see the sheep grazing on the front lawn. The rooms themselves were gorgeous, and the bed very comfortable. There was complimentary... More

When I arrived with my family, everyone expressed the same phrase as indicated in the title. Hilary greeted us with cream tea and scones! The rooms are wonderful, clean and unimaginable views. On Easter Sunday the Tuckers even cooked a roasted lamb for us which made our visit complete. Whilst there we had the chance to visit loads of places... More
