This is such a delightful hotel, I'd like not to give it a review, but it deserves a rave rating! The service even from the reservation itself was friendly, helpful and personal. The gardens are sublime (I didn't know I was old enough to think that but take the stroll) and the views are spectacular - its the setting for... more

This was our third long weekend at the hotel. A long journey (c5hrs) from London means that you need to stay a while to justify the journey. Endsleigh is a very attractive stereotypical small English country house, beautifully located in a secluded and very quiet valley, with very attractive grounds/ gardens. Having originally been built as an 1800's hunting lodge,... more

From the moment that I stretched out on a chaise, by a window, overlooking the most amazing countryside you will ever see and had my supper served to me on my lap, I knew that this was going to be the perfect relaxing weekend that you so very often wish for but rarely find. It was like having your very... more

Having read the reviews before visiting Endsleigh, we thought it was only fair to contribute. We booked in for the Easter weekend, originally only wanting two nights but on booking we were informed we had to take three nights over Easter......and what a bonus that was! From the moment we arrived we were looked after and didn't want to leave.... more

My husband and I have just returned from an Easter break to the Hotel. The hotel's remote location sets it apart from other weekender hotels we go to. It very much still has the feel of a hunting lodge rather than a larger house and has beautiful modern decor. The service was good, I wonder if other negative comments are... more

We stayed at Hotel Endsleigh for four nights over Christmas and had an excellent stay. The Hotel setting is stunning, with beautiful gardens and views of the river and hills. We were surprised to read the reviews about service here - particularly since we found the service to be of a very high standard. Staff were warm, welcoming and helpful... more

Stayed here for two nights for a friend's wedding and had a lovely time. The staff were very helpful, the food was excellent and the place itself is beautiful. The location is pretty remote but other than that it would make a lovely place for a weekend break. more

My husband booked a night here as a suprise for our wedding anniversary. We stayed in room 5, which has amazing views down the valley to the river, the largest bed and longest bath. The roaring log fires and candles everywhere make for a very relaxing atmosphere. The grounds are magnificent. Dinner was excellent, with locally sourced ingredients, my fillet... more

STAY AWAY!!! I am a huge fan of trip advisor and i should of read ALL of the reviews before taking the huge journey from London to stay here, but seeing so many 5 star rated reports i put the bad reviews to people who were nit picking, quite the opposite, the 5 star ratings are by people with clearly... more
