Had a lovely weekend Graham and Jo just great. We were there for a Family get together and a Hog Roast(that they do for Weddings and great value so do look it up if your getting married) Great breakfast and great rooms if your kids love animals bring them down. Ducks/Horses/Ducks etc. Lovely views and we will be back Ian

Finding anywhere to stay in the area in August, with a dog and at short notice was a success. Finding Mount Tavy Cottage was a godsend. My wife was delighted and Kerry loved investigating all the new smells and playing ball in the field, even in the rain. We stayed in the Tack room for two nights. On arrival, Graham... More

Really glad you enjoyed your stay but wish you had told us that night that the water heater had been turned off, our relatively new cleaner turns all switches off (not a bad habit I suppose) when she has finished cleaning, but an easy remedy to get the hot water back on. Glad you have received your phone you left... More

We booked in for the B&B option, but were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a self catered cottage for the night. Wonderful hosts, very welcoming with tea and coffee on arrival - much appreciated after a long day cycling there. Very clean and comfortable accommodation. Beautiful grounds, full of wildlife - we were lucky that flowers were in full... More

Thank you Jennifer for your kind review and I am glad you appreciated the Wood Shed. And the good news is another guest found Marks glasses but the bad news is someone had driven over them, I know he said he wasn't bothered as they were only a cheap pair but at least now he will know what happened to... We stayed in the tack room for 3 nights and have no hesitation in recommending to other people. Joanne and Graham are great hosts with lots of information and very keen to ensure your stay is a memorable one. Great location near to Tavistock and Dartmoor. Hope to visit again when in the area.

We stayed in the 'Wood Shed' in January of this year with our 10 week old son. I had booked last Sept and the owners were aware it would be our first family holiday. The location is idyllic and the owners seemed nice but I was shocked at how filthy the self catering cottage was, it was as though nobody... More

Hello Jess I am so sorry about the cobwebs and dust when you visited us and I do wish that you had come up immediately and told me, so that it could have been re-cleaned and not waited 6 months to complain. We have since redecorated the bathroom and bedroom and got a new cleaner. The trouble with old buildings... More

Tranquil accommodation on edge of Dartmoor, minutes from Tavistock. Beautiful building and furnishings, very traditional and authentic. Hosts were so welcoming- little touches like providing home-made Devonshire cream tea after a long day on the Moors made the stay extra-special. Breakfast was delicious- great selection of locally sourced produce. Four-poster bed was a delightful sleeping experience! Would highly recommend.

I have stayed at Mount Tavy Cottage on a number of occasions now with my family. My son boards at a local school and we currently live overseas. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mount Tavy Cottage as a first class B&B, also with the added facility to self cater. Graham and Joanne are the perfect hosts and have... More

Beautifully refurbished cottage development with self catering and B & B rooms located about a mile out of Tavistock town centre. Jo and Graham were great hosts - very welcoming and friendly. We decided to walk into Tavistock to eat. A short 20 minute stroll. Breakfast was the usual English offerings with good selection of cereals, hot coffee and toast.... More

Just back from 2 nights staying at Mount Tavy Cottage with friends . The weather was extremely wet and wild but Joanne and Graham made us very welcome in their cosy cottage. As soon as we arrived there was tea and scones by the roaring log fire with advice about the area and where to go for dinner. The food... More

We have just returned home after spending two nights at Mount Tavy. We stayed on a bed and breakfast basis in the main house and it was a delightful experience. The accommodation was extremely comfortable with a spacious bedroom and a large well appointed bathroom. We had the use of a very comfortable sitting/dining room complete with a welcoming log...
