Impeccable rooms and service from friendly helpful staff. Exceptional food in the restaurant with amazing views of the Tamar valley.. Recently had a one night stay here and were very pleased. Room (garden view) very nice with all you would need including a lovely bathroom. Lovely views although weather obscured most of them - very misty and wet when we stayed. (Area seems to have its own microclimate due to proximity to Dartmoor and is usually worse than elsewhere.) the rooms are simply beautiful with fabulous views. The food was excellent and the staff very friendly and welcoming. My only negative comment was the breakfast - it was clearly cooked long before it was served - my eggs were hard and cold. more

What a great place. This was recommended to me by someone else who loved it, and it did not disappoint.
