Visited 19th July 2015 for a 2 night stay and was allocated room 4 upstairs. After seeing deals on the internet rang and Wayne offered the equivalent deal by dealing direct. On arrival we were greated by Debbie and shown our room. The room was small but adequate, but silly little things let it down which could have been addressed... More

We stayed at the coach house for 2 nights In July. On first sight the stone building looked lovely, the long untidy grass, the plastic potted artificial plants and grubby doorway were not. The lady owner greeted us in the car park, very friendly welcome. We were shown around the hotel with apologies in every area for 'things that were... More

We stayed 2 nights at the Coach House and couldn't be happier. We arrived late but were welcomed by the lovely owner Debbie who even re-opened the bar. This was most welcome after a 8 hour drive. The hotel is situated in the country and is extremely peaceful and relaxing. The rooms were spotless, well equipped and the beds very... More

We went for dinner as liked the look of Web page, what a disappointment, the coach house needs compleat refurbishment if seemed no one cares, no curtains on patio doors, artifical roases in dirt stained glass vases, if lacking finances, table clothes in dinning room and fresh flowers would make a world of differanc. Great food, presentaion could be less... More

We visited the Coach House for dinner for my mums birthday. I cannot express how fabulous the service there is! We were greeted with a warm smile and coats and bags taken and were seated in the restaurant. There were a few other couples having dinner there and we were all looked after SO well. We had arranged for a... More

Visiting parents who live in Cornwall & we like to stay in different places. The room was very comfortable & clean(although a little shabby but we were assured that they are upgrading the rooms and those that have been done are excellent.) and we had a nice view. The staff/owners are all lovely & very welcoming, breakfast was superb and... More

Just returned from a really enjoyable two day stay at the coach house. The food was outstanding, especially the breakfast. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, and we thought the stay was excellent value for money. We will definitely be back.

This was our second visit to the Coach House. We were here last August. Once again the friendliness of the owners and staff were very good. The food is excellent. However we were hoping that the promised refurbishment would have started to take shape, but sadly it hasn't. A couple of the bedrooms have been done, but they were completed... More

Perhaps, like me, you might be tempted by the below offer from The Coach House (the offer is/was available through Amazon Local, who unlike the owners have dealt with my concerns promptly and fairly). The text is as shown on the Amazon Local website: ‘£85 (worth up to £148) for a two-night stay for two in a Standard Room with... More
