The Coachouse Hotel is about 5km from Tavistock, in a very rural and remote location. My advice to you if you have a sat nav is use it or you may never find it! The hotel has a small car park immediately across the road.

On arrival, I had to find someone to check me in as the staff were serving in the restaurent, but this was done swiftly and they were in fact expecting me and greeted me by name on arrival.

I was taken up to my room, and helped with my bags. The man showing my room informed me of the restaurant hours and then left. The room itself was a reasonable size, although the decor had seen better days and the carpet was worn and stained (not a good combination). The ensuite shower room smelled alot of mould and the shower itself was not that clean (dirt in the door runners).
