The house is historic but perfectly restored and updated where needed. Victoria and Tim are wonderful hosts for our stay. There is always a warm fire burning when you come back to the house from a hike. The room was large just as the bath room. A special experience was Victorias dinner. Quality and variety is equal to a very... More

We are frequent flyers at Burnville farm and cannot praise the relaxed yet very stylish atmosphere. The hosts just get it right all the time. The rooms are better every time..although there must come a time when improvements will be hard to make. FANTASTIC!

We stayed in the gorgeous Victorian detached house called Guinea for the week with our boys (15 and 11) my parents a my sister. The location is fantastic, brilliant views, gorgeous setting and easy to get every where, Tavistock only a 10 minute drive away with everything you could need. Tim and Victoria are brilliant hosts. This was an exceptional experience. The rooms were beautifully decorated and furnished. The goose down pillows resulted in the best sleep for ages. The bathroom was very large, and well stocked with White Stuff toiletries. The breakfast was a delight. The fruit was so beautifully presented I wondered whether it was to be eaten. The full English that followed was a delight... More

This Farm B&B is actually a quite lovely country house in a stunning rural location; Run by the owner hosts Victoria & Tim who have a complete grasp on managing a five star B&B business whilst also running a demanding farm. Immediately being made to feel at home on arrival is hard to achieve but Victoria possesses this rare skill... More

After trawling through web pages and engaging in infinite email threads with farms around the country, we had the good fortune of choosing to spend last weekend at Burnville Farm. The accommodation far surpassed any thing I have encountered in a bed & breakfast style home. Where one naturally looks to find gaps in an experience, one instead finds the... More

My husband and I had a long weekend recently at Burnville Farm. We had a truly fabulous time, our hosts were very warm and welcoming, the accommodation was first class and the breakfasts so lovely that we booked in for an evening meal which was equally top tucker and great value. We were also able to take three of our... More

We had a wonderful time at Burnville Farm. We also went Clay pigeon shooting and the host was a very patient teacher in all the weathers we experienced on the day. Such fun and glorious surroundings. We will be going back again for sure!

My three friends and I visited Burnville Farm today for clay pigeon shooting and had the most amazing time largely due to the patience, enthusiasm and first class service from Tim and Victoria Cunningham, the farm's owners. Tim made the whole experience fun, despite the weather and spent hours ensuring we had a fantastic time. The house and the views... More

Stayed here with our 16 month old daughter mid December Was a bit weary at first due to no signs or anything; actually drove out as we thought we were in the wrong place But when we got inside it took our breath away; a truly beautiful place kept in period condition We were offered a cup of tea in...
